Earlier reports said that to have all the activities such as anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-diabetic, antimicrobial, anti-cancer, improve eyesight, source of phenolic compounds. In present study we have taken Indian cultivated fruit (white flesh variety) and its Spines, Peel and flesh (alcohol extract) are subjected to Preliminary phytochemical screening and thin layer chromatography studies for flavonoids. The present study shows that alkaloids, saponin glycosides, flavonoids, steroids and Triterpenoids are present in all parts of the fruit. Based on their therapeutic claims in literature and reporting from Australian variety, we checked for the presence of Flavonoids and further identified by thin layer chromatography. Flavonoids were present in all 3 parts of the fruit, so all 3 parts can be used as a source of flavonoids. Further studies to be carried out for isolation and identification of flavonoids compounds. The fruit has potential to be recommended as nutraceutical as a source of antioxidants.","PeriodicalId":234038,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Advanced Research In Medical & Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125220247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a part of community pharmacy interaction with people plays a key role in bringing awareness about chronic diseases in the rural areas. Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease, affecting people of both genders and across 30-60 and above groups and is currently considered a major public health change globally. This study aims to assess the public knowledge, awareness and health profile. A cross-sectional survey was carried out for 4 months from February 2023 to May 2023 using a survey, offline questionnaire. Data were descriptively analyzed. A total of 100 families surveyed, the major participants were hypertension patients. The male hypertension patients bear 43 %, the female hypertension patients bear 57%. Hypertension is a silent killer with preventing complications it can be avoided. Three major complications are swollen ankles, severe headache and confusion, redness skin, related to blindness, kidney damage and heart attack. Researchers now look for alternative methods for hypertension treatment. The goal of this project is to give a general idea of current status of hypertension research on charlapally village.","PeriodicalId":234038,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Advanced Research In Medical & Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131778625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, there is a need for a suitable topical drug delivery system which would increase the contact time leading to increase in local drug concentration of therapeutic effect. The main objective of these study was to formulate, characterize and evaluation minoxidil gel in combination with different extract for enhanced topical drug delivery. Formulations were prepared by using carbopol 940, HPMC, as viscosity enhancing agents. And Aloe vera used as soothing agent, natural polymer, hair growth promoter. The formulations were evaluated by appearance, gelation, measurement of pH, spreadability and skin irritation tests were done. A stable minoxidil gel formulation is prepared by using aloe vera, carbopol 940, HPMC, propylene glycol, triethanolamine, ethanol used in the treatment of alopecia. The developed formulations were stable, non-irritant to albino rats.","PeriodicalId":234038,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Advanced Research In Medical & Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127193287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
