BMA has been proposed as way of correcting underdispersion in ensemble forecasts. The output of ensemble BMA is a weighted average of pdfs centered on the individual bias-corrected ensemble forecast. The BMA weights are posterior probabilities of the models generating the forecast, and show the relative contribution of the component models to the prediction over the training period. This paper focuses on short range forecasting of daily maximum temperature. Forecasting temperature, we have approximated the conditional pdf by normal distribution centered at a linear function of the forecast. Since we are not able to get an ensemble of forecasts for Ethiopia, we have used the previous eight years from 2003 to 2010 data as ensemble and 2011 as observation. The BMA approach yields predictive distribution for temperature thatwere much better calibrated than those based on naive averaging of the forecasts.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114732676","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The alternative procedure was developed by adopting SatterthwaiteA¢Â€Â™s approach of univariate test for unequal variances. The approach made use of approximate degree of freedom method in one way MANOVA when the dispersion matrices are not equal and unknown but positive definite. The new procedure was compared by using simulated data when it is Multivariate normal, Multivariate Gamma and real life data. The new procedure performed better in terms of power of the test and type I error rate when compared with Johanson procedure.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123170904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Parity check matrices of these codes are obtained and used in constructing their Tanner graphs. A Tanner graph has n variable nodes, corresponding to the code bits of the codeword, and m check nodes that represents the parity check equations. An assignment of the code bits of a received vector is now known to be a valid code word if all the parity check equations from the Tanner graph are satisfied otherwise, an error is detected. Moreover, other code properties such as the regularity or otherwise of these codes are also determined from such Tanner graphs.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129211106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This repeats the method that was used to organize atomic elements and create the Periodic Table of Elements in the 1800s. The solution to linearize particles into a predictable function is not as simple as atomic elements, but it does exist. We will introduce an equation that fits known particles into a linear function and enables the prediction of future particles based on missing energy levels. It also predicts an exact mass of the neutrino. To accomplish this, particles are first organized by particle numbers, similar to atomic numbers in the Periodic Table of Elements and then charted against their known Particle Data Group energy levels. The results show similarities between particles and atomic elements – in both total numbers in formation and also in numbers where both are known to be more stable.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125521574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Physics is based on images created by us through observation and transmitted for mathematical or experimental confirmations. In modern physics and cosmology, what could not be noticed, being below or above the limit of observation of our instruments, are simple hypotheses that mathematical sciences have to confirm. We evaluate the cosmic space in terms of objects, bodies and particles, dividing the universe into the macrocosm and microcosm and establishing absolute results for relative distances, which is illogical.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121926042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is due to the fact that the analytical solutions contain all the necessary information for the quantum system under consideration. In this paper, we obtained the solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation with more general exponential screened coulomb (MGESC), Yukawa potential (YP) and the sum of the mixed potential (MGESCY) using the Parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov Method (PNUM). The bound state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding un-normalized eigenfunctions expressed in terms of hypergeometric functions are obtained.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"274 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120985661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The asymptotic results of the MFPT for random walks that start, for example, at the reflecting point, have a variety of dependencies with respect to its size N. For example, for the case of birth and death processes the MFPT~N; for the case of symmetric random walks the MFPT~N2 and for the case of biased random walks the MFPT~αN where α is a constant that depends on the system’s rates. In this work a transition matrix is derived in such a way that the MRT of the system is equal to (m+1)d where m is the site number, and d is any arbitrary number satisfying the condition d>0. Since the MFPT is the sum of MRTs then the corresponding MFPT for such a transition matrix is MFPT~N(1+d). Thus, one can determine the asymptotic result of the MFPT to be N1+d for any arbitrary d>0, and based on it, obtain the corresponding transition matrix. Several examples of fractional and high order asymptotic results of the MFPT such as N3.5, N5, N6, are presented.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130474297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reason why this contradiction appears is a velocity vector attached to an inertial frame. Since this sort of inertial frame exists in the natural world, the “principle of relativity” that regards all inertial frames as equivalent, cannot be regarded as a true principle. This paper concludes that the special theory of relativity, which assumes the “principle of relativity” in its development, is a theory with a built-in contradiction.","PeriodicalId":233617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Physical Mathematics","volume":"353 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123238988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
