Bu bağlamda ana dili Türkçe olmayan öğretmenlerin deneyimleri ve görüşleri, yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimine etkisi sosyolojik açıdan incelenmesi gereken bir sorun durumudur ve öğrencilerin dil becerilerinin gelişimini etkileyebilecek önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Günümüzde dil öğretimi, sadece dilbilgisi ve kelime dağarcığına odaklanan bir yaklaşımdan daha fazlasını gerektirmektedir. Sosyal ve kültürel unsurların dil öğrenim sürecine etkisi giderek daha önemli hale gelmektedir. Bu çalışma, ana dili konuşuru olmayan öğretmenlerin gözünden yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimine yönelik sosyolojik unsurların etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmelerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmaya Kazakistan, Kırgızistan, Irak, Tanzanya, Kenya ve Bosna Hersek'te çalışan 8 Kazak, 6 Kırgız, 2 Özbek, 3 Azeri, 1 Türkmen, 2 Tacik, 1 Kürt ve 3 Boşnak toplam 26 öğretmen katılmıştır. Ana dili Türkçe olmayan öğretmenlerin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen görüşmelerde, dil öğretimine yönelik sosyolojik unsurlara ilişkin algıları ve deneyimleri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, ana dili Türkçe olmayan öğretmenlerin, dil öğretiminde sosyolojik unsurların önemine dair farkındalık düzeyinin yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak, ana dili konuşuru olmayan öğretmenlerin sosyolojik unsurların yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimine etkisi önemlidir ve olumlu yönde değerlendirilmektedir. In order for this unending power to reach the desired goal, people need to direct it with their own will and determination. Motivation is a responsibility from the start. This responsibility can sometimes be seen in the field of education and sometimes in business life. It is possible to see motivation in almost all areas of life. The aim of this study is to determine the motivation deficiencies in the education-teaching adventure and to offer solutions. Motivation has been present in life for centuries whether we are always aware of it or not. A word used, every implied word or every subject that is not explained correctly is an effective factor in the decrease or even loss of motivation. In this study, motivation-centered problems in teaching Turkish as a foreign language at A2 level are emphasized. Aresearch was conducted on the students of Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) who received education in Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the research, a questionnaire was applied to 130 students in the 2nd grade at A2 level. Qualitative and quantitative (mixed method) were used in the research. Obtained results were tabulated by using SPSS application. One of these problems is encountered in the field of education. It has been observed that Turkish children living in Germany with their families gradually distance themselves from Turkish language after a certain period of time. This has become a significant issue for Turkish-German bilingual children. The problem addressed in this study is the slow progress in learning Turkish language due to the scarcity of Turkish language materials for Turkish students. In line with this problem, the aim of the study is to investigate the effect of gamification on the learning of proverbs by Turkish students attending Turkish language classes in the Ennepe Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia state in Germany. For this purpose, a material for the game of \"Okey\" with words related to proverbs was developed to contribute to the learning of proverbs by students. A case study design, which is one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the research. The game of Okey, which is frequently played by the Turkish/German community to have a good time with family members, relatives, and friends, was selected as the material. The words of pre-determined proverbs were written separately on the tiles used in the Okey game. Students were asked to complete these proverbs while playing Okey. Thus, the aim was to help students grasp the proverbs more quickly and retain them in their memories for a longer period of time using gamification techniques in Turkish language classes. As a result of the activities carried out in line with these objectives, the success of students in learning proverbs increased by over 50%. İletişim ise insanın sosyal hayatta birbiriyle etkileşime girmesinin en belirgin özelliğidir. Dünyada birbirinden farklı yapılarda konuşulan yüzlerce dil vardır. Dilin ait olduğu kültüre dair özellikleri barındırması, toplumun kültürel birikiminin dile yansıması ikinci bir dil öğrenmede kültürel öğelerin kullanılmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. Teknolojinin yaygınlaşması ile birbirinden uzak coğrafyalar hakkında edinilen bilgilerin merak uyandırması, yeni bir kültür tanıma ve anlamaya fırsat sunması açısından anadil dışında yeni bir dil öğrenmeye ilgi artmıştır. Bu ilgiyi devam ettirerek dil öğrenme sürecinde bireyin yeni bir kültüre ilgi ve merak duygusunu besleyen, farklı olanı kendi gibi olmayanı anlamaya, araştırmaya yönelten kültürel ögelerin dil edinimindeki rolünü anlamak önemlidir. Yüzlerce yıldır ikinci bir dil öğretiminde farklı yöntem ve araştırmalar ortaya konmuştur. Bu yöntem ve metotlar içinde kültürel öğelerin yer alması günümüz de dikkat edilen bir husus olarak göze çarpmaktadır. Günümüz dünyasının bilgi edinme gerçeği ile beraber bilginin amacına uygun sağlıklı şekilde başka dili konuşanlara aktarılması da önemlidir. Yabancı dil öğretiminde kullanılan materyallerde o dile ait kültürel özelliklerin kullanılması bireyin hayat boyu sürecek olan bilgilenme ve öğrenme sürecine pozitif katkısı olacaktır. The last major epidemic, the Covid-19 pandemic, can be considered one of the largest and most widespread epidemics in the modern era. The developing transportation and communication sector has unfortunately been a negative factor that facilitates the spread of the pandemic. As in all areas of life, serious problems and changes have been experienced in education. Online education studies with the distance education system are the most popular development of this period. The study aims to determine the opinions of Turkish teachers who teach Turkish to foreigners on the positive and negative aspects of distance online education and formal education. Using the qualitative research method, the opinions of the teachers who participated in the survey were compiled through Google forms. After three demographic questions in the survey, twelve 5-point Likert scale questions were asked. As a result of the study, it has been concluded that distance education does not need institutional spaces compared to online education, but there are advantages such as financial opportunity, transportation, and time, but face-to-face teaching is much more functional in terms of the efficiency of the courses and gains. The peer instruction method developed by Mazur can be defined as a method in which participants actively participate in the educational process by discussing and helping each other in a peer group during the lesson. In the research, the subjects named “Communication and Media, Technological Developments” in the Harmoni 2 textbook were discussed. In this study, the effect of discussion on the answers of 24 8th-grade students in peer instruction techniques during the lesson was investigated. The application was carried out in Astana City Girls High School (BIL) in Kazakhstan in five weeks with 24 students who took Turkish lessons from Kazakh cognate students whose mother tongue was not Turkish. The data of 50 multiple choice concept test questions asked to the students in the course were analyzed. Data were analyzed using the independent t-test (p=.000) in the SPSS 21.0 program. In this geography, besides the Turkic tribes such as the Uzbeks, Turkmens, Kyrgyz, and Kazakhs who speak their native languages even today, there are also tribes like the Hazaras, the Aimaqs, and the Galchays who – having forgotten their mother tongues – speak Persian or Pashto. In Afghanistan, where the Turkic dynasties generally ruled before 1747, the Pashtuns became the dominant ethnic community with the proclamation of the Afghan state in 1747. The turbulent history and political life of Afghanistan have deeply affected the Turkic communities, as have all Afghan peoples. The Turkic peoples were occasionally forbidden to receive education in their native tongues, while it was also aimed to change the demographic structure by resettling Pashtuns in some regions. The Soviet occupation and the ensuing civil war claimed thousands of lives and forced millions of people to leave their country. Between 2001 and 2021, the administration in Afghanistan changed hands once again as supported by the Western states; yet, there was partial relief for the Turkic peoples during this period. The developments in August 2021 dragged these people into uncertainty again. Küreselleşmeyle birlikte ülkeler arası etkileşimin artmasıyla birlikte dil öğrenme faaliyetleri de hız kazanmıştır. Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğrenilmesinde özellikle yöntem çalışmalarına yönelik birçok araştırma yapılmaktadır ve bu araştırmalardan biri de kelime sıklığı araştırmasıdır. Kelime sıklığı çalışmaları, bir dilde sıkça kullanılan kelimeleri tespit eden araştırmalardır. Ortak Avrupa Dil Referans Bağlamında Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe Öğretiminde Kullanılan Yağmur Ders Kitaplarının Kelime Sıklığı Açısından İncelenmesi başlıklı yüksek tez çalışmamızda Avrupa Ortak Dil Referans Metni ışığında Yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi konusu ele alınmış, yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi hakkında literatür ve araştırma çalışması yapılmıştır. Çalışmada A1 ve A2 seviyelerini kapsayacak biçimde 2017 senesinde Nev Lisan Yayınları’ndan çıkan Yağmur Türkçe Öğretim Seti’nin birinci ve ikinci ders kitabı referans alınarak kelime sıklığı çalışması uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Ceval Kaya tarafından Türkçe için geliştirilmiş bir sıklık programı olan Cibakaya programı 2.3 sürümü kullanılmıştır.
