The research method employs a mixed approach, and cross-table analysis (crosstab analysis) is used to assess the study hypothesis. The findings revealed that while other variables had no impact on managing sloped land, age, education level, family dependents, farming experience, land acreage, and average income per harvest all had a significant impact on sloping land with a p value 0.05. p-values higher than 0.05. The study's findings demonstrate that socioeconomic considerations have a significant influence on how sloping land farming is managed.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130936100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to identify the relationships between cocoa exports and global cocoa prices between 1985 and 2020. Granger Causality was the quantitative methodology used in this research. Cocoa export volume and global cocoa prices are the study's factors. The study's findings showed that there was a one-way causal relationship between the variables, with the international cocoa price variable successfully affecting the cocoa export variable but no evidence of a causal relationship between the cacao export variable and the international cocoa price variable. This describes how coffee exports will be impacted by the price of coffee globally.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115089409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given the various commodities that have been developed in Gorontalo Regency's agricultural sector, particularly in the food sub-sector, it is hoped that there will soon be superior commodities that are well developed and can positively affect the region's economic growth, particularly in the agricultural sector, particularly in the food sub-sector. The goal of this study was to use LQ (Location Quotient) and SSA (Shift Share Analysis)  analysis tools to identify basic and non-basic commodities in the food sub-sector of Gorontalo Regency, identify commodities belonging to progressive growth, and identify the leading commodities in the food sub-sector of Gorontalo Regency. According to the analysis's findings, rice, corn, and soybeans were the three most important fundamental commodities in the Gorontalo Regency's food sub-sector. Corn, rice, and soybeans were among the agricultural products in the Gorontalo Regency that were categorized as having advanced or progressive development. According to the findings of the LQ and SSA analysis summarized, corn, rice, and soybeans are the top three commodities in the Gorontalo Regency","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125444656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The three techniques used to analyze the data—Location Quotient, Klassen Typology, and Williamson Index—are all taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The results of data processing from the three methods show that the level of inequality between regions is still high and the gap has increased every year. Bangkalan Regency is the only district that is lagging behind in terms of regions that are still in quadrant IV, and there are 10 and 17 business fields that are categorized as underdeveloped. This indicates that the existence of the Suramadu bridge has not been able to have a positive impact on the economy in Bangkalan, which is the gateway to Madura.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"55 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123659073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rismayanti","doi":"10.32662/golder.v0i0.2623","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32662/golder.v0i0.2623","url":null,"abstract":"stract The purpose of this essay is to outline methods for implementing a green economy in Palopo City in order to escape the middle income trap. Since the creation of Palopo City in 2002, the per capita income of the residents of that city has fallen into the middle income range. The worst effect of this would be a lack of investor confidence in Palopo City, which could eventually lead to an increase in the poverty rate due to a lack of jobs. Therefore, Palopo City needs a plan to use the idea of a green economy to escape the middle class trap. The research design for this study is descriptive qualitative, and the methods for gathering data used are recording, interviews, and observation. The research results obtained are that currently the Palopo City government is building a city with the Business Traveler concept, but in this development, it is considered less than optimal, especially in the application of the green economy concept which has an impact on the accumulation of waste from business activities that pollutes the environment. Additionally, Palopo City's open unemployment rate is the second-highest in the country after Makassar City, necessitating increased job growth in the green economy industry. Strategies that can be applied in Palopo City to overcome the problem of the middle income trap by applying the green economy concept are: (1) waste management and circular economy, (2) application of extended producer responsibility policies as the role of producers who are ecologically literate, and (3) training programs green economy to prepare the human resources of Palopo City towards environmental-based economic development.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124625201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series data stretching from November 2014 to November 2022. The Quantitative research method, which is VAR (Vector Autoregressive) was used to test and analyze hypotheses with measurable data to obtain parameters from the variables’ influence. The study’s results found that oil prices significantly influenced Indonesia’s stock prices decline. Oil on the exchange rate was also significant, meaning last month's oil prices affected the exchange rate this month, and there was a depreciation. Still, the exchange rate was not significant for stock prices.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131280657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Panel data regression analysis techniques with Pooled least Square (PLS), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). The panel data in the study is a combination of time series data for 2010-2019 with cross-section data from 153 regencies/cities on the island of Sumatra. The purpose of the study was to find the best panel data regression model and determine the variables that affect the poverty rate of regencies/cities on the island of Sumatra. The results of the research analysis found a fixed effect model (FEM) as the best model for analyzing the poverty rate (P0) of regencies/cities on the island of Sumatra. Access to electricity, access to adequate drinking water, acquisition of GRDP and government capital expenditure are variables that have a significant impact on the poverty rate (P0). Access to sanitation and population are not variables that affect the level of poverty (P0). The managerial implications of the government prioritize increasing district/city GRDP to reduce poverty.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131604259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The settlement of Tumih itself has excellent potential for agriculture, particularly rice production. The analytical technique used employs the Strength Field Analysis approach to identify development plans and Participation Strength Analysis to identify the level of community involvement in agriculture in Tumih Village while determining the agricultural sector's strategy. The analysis' findings indicate that the key influencing elements for agricultural development plans in Tumih Village are the availability of human resources in the agricultural sector, particularly in the case of rice, and the farmers' receptivity to new technology. A hindrance in Tumih Village is the absence of irrigation and agricultural technologies. With only 36.5 percent, the assessment of the level of community involvement in planning for agricultural growth is still insufficient.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"53 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130321625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there were only 251 articles that looked at debt literacy between 1985 to 2020. Scholars' interest in identifying the cause of the Lehman Brothers collapse has skyrocketed since it happened. The biggest contributing factor is allegedly a lack of financial knowledge. The dimensions relating to debt literacy can be solved and mapped using this bibliometric methodology. Using Vos-viewer software and publish or perish can assist determine it. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Publication Background Notes Series has nine publications, and the International Journal of Consumer Studies has eight. These two publications account for the majority of all publications. Cwynar, Gathergood, and Lusardi are three researchers who are involved in and concerned about the subject of debt literacy. With 97 publications, the United States is the largest publishing nation overall. Gender, adulthood, household finances, financial management, financial knowledge, financial aptitude, and excessive debt are all relevant topics for future research in the area of debt literacy.","PeriodicalId":231581,"journal":{"name":"Gorontalo Development Review","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128692738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
