The environmental degradation and decrease in economic growth could be well validated by the increasing change in climatic conditions and agricultural practices which are directly or indirectly affecting the sustainability of one's own country. This paper will explore on these two aforementioned factors with respect to India's scenario and highlight its affect on the Sustainable Development of the country. Further the paper will also provide the prospective solutions to mitigate the severity of these factors.","PeriodicalId":231217,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Conference on Technologies for Sustainability (SusTech)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132244025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With average field strength of .00005 Tesla around the world it is easy to understand why it has been overlooked. A disruptive technology is needed to mine the Earth's magnetic field as a power source. Such a technology, graphene, is now at an early stage of development with excellent properties in the form of high conductivity, low resistivity sheets that are durable, lightweight, and low cost. Electrical properties of multiple sheets of graphene provide a significant multiplier to Earth's weak magnetic field yielding a feasible source of ecologically clean power.","PeriodicalId":231217,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Conference on Technologies for Sustainability (SusTech)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129171931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
