The role of these veterans in educating the younger generation on the examples of their own heroic deeds in the war years is shown. The methodological essence of this problem corresponds to the principles of historicism, objective reflection of reality, dialectical, which are implemented using chronological, comparative methods, as well as quantitative analysis.
