In case of application of the provisions of art. 65 of the Labor Code, regarding the termination of employment for reasons not related to the person of the employee, the topic is of the utmost relevance, in the current economic context. The legality of such a dismissal decision will relate to the existence of a real and serious cause, thus eliminating the possible subjective conduct of employers, not accepting the absence of the actual cause or the elements that define discrimination in employment relationships. Although they prefer online education because of its freedom for action, Z generation is in risk for an independent self-construction that lead to a devastating individualism for their own life. Our study aims to describe the influence of self-valorisation culture on our candidates’ self-esteem (from Z generation) for Pedagogy and Primary and Preschool Pedagogy. For this purpose, we have analysed the content of their motivational essays – part of their admission file. Paradoxically, isolation at home, especially of the elderly, has been taken to mean solidarity as imposed by the authorities for the good of all members of society. Surprisingly, people have moved from showing solidarity out of fear of contagion to showing social solidarity by caring for the vulnerable, lonely and disadvantaged, such as the elderly.
