In order to tackle the menace of passport forgery, technical solutions are being used by passport-verifying authorities. Passport verification is carried out in two ways. One way is by checking the material of the passport and various signs on the physical passport, and the other is by verifying the authenticity of information mentioned on the passport. It has been observed that many times that passports are forged by manipulating the information, a person's image, or a person's signature on the passport. Though this information on the passport is verified by verifying authorities against the passport's information stored in the digital system, the management of the digital information of the passport is not free from unauthorized access or manipulation of the digital information of the passport. Also, currently, citizens' passport data verification is done mainly by airport authorities during passenger undertaking flight travel. However, apart from that passports are considered valid proof document for many processes and by many corporates and organizations in the country. Nevertheless, as of today, there is no means available by which third parties or corporates can verify all the passport information of the passport or passport copy provided to them. Thus in this paper, we have discussed the design and implementation of a blockchain-based system for managing passport-related information. Also, through this system, various stakeholders such as airport verification authorities, corporates, organizations and others are connected and can access passport-related information for verification purposes. This system can be used to verify the authenticity of passport data by different stakeholders, and based on it, these stakeholders can identify fake or forged passport data provided to them.","PeriodicalId":225239,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Advances in Science and Technology (ICAST)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116480526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

MRI is the most effective diagnostic tool for detecting a tumor. However, thermal noise, temperature fluctuations, and other artifacts can generate noisy MRI scans, leading to inaccurate diagnoses. Deep learning algorithms combined with image processing techniques have aided in a variety of medical imaging tasks, including enhancing MRI images. Our work proposes a U-Net architecture with two encoder-decoder pairs for denoising MRI scans which were finely tuned on a dataset generated by injecting synthetic Gaussian noise. The model improved the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) from 11.90 to 30.96. The presented work also provides empirical evidence that the proposed denoising strategy enhances the prediction accuracy of brain tumors by nearly 23%. The developed denoising technique using U-Net would benefit radiologists and computer-aided diagnostic systems (CAD) in precisely diagnosing the disease by generating cleaner and clearer MRI scans.","PeriodicalId":225239,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Advances in Science and Technology (ICAST)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121995285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The animation and gaming industries have also transitioned from traditional and 2D graphics/animations to 3D. Recently, there has been a lot of innovation in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), and most of it is making its way to the web. 3D Virtual experiences are increasing now-a-days in order to provide a realistic experience over the web, this is made possible with the help of WebGL. WebGL is a cross-platform JavaScript API for rendering 3D graphics in the browser without the need for plugins, and it works with all major browser. Many additional Java Script libraries abstract WebGL, resulting in a higher code level. ThreeJs, the most popular library/API for WebGL-based 3D graphics, is one of the libraries. This paper proposes the implementation of College 3D model rendering using ThreeJs. The main goal is to develop a website which provides a realistic experience of our college infrastructure in a virtual environment using WebGL and Three Js. This system provides the user a virtual tour of the college which includes the exterior campus and the interiors consisting of classrooms, labs, auditorium, etc. with a facility to navigate smoothly around the area in the required direction to gain a proper insight of the amenities with navigational buttons.","PeriodicalId":225239,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Advances in Science and Technology (ICAST)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125329639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
