Numerous users can be easily attacked through the use of illegitimate emails that may come from trusted users. Organizations often try to implement security measures but they remain susceptible to these attacks. The purpose of this study was to show that university students are at risk of being attacked. The deployment of a dedicated lab environment and the susceptibility of the network to countless social engineering attacks were completely assessed in a controlled lab environment. The targeted audience, students, showed that they were more vulnerable. The findings of these investigations revealed that the network is vulnerable to social engineering attacks, specifically spear phishing attempts. Recommendations were made that included that universities should invest in educating students, staff members, and the faculty at large about certain threats and how to avoid falling prey to them.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"50 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139155221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Subsequently, we define and explore (α, β, φ, δ)-contractions, a generalization of traditional contractions that allows for a more nuanced understanding of the contraction behavior in extended cone metric spaces. The extended metric space was defined for the first time in 2017, by Kamran et al. (2017). They replaced the constant in the triangle inequality of the metric with a two-variable function and explored various fixed point theorems. In 2022, Das and Bag[4] introduced extended cone metric spaces by incorporating a three-variable map into the third condition of the cone metric. Afterwards, Selko and Sila introduced the concept of extended quasi cone b-metric spaces and demonstrated the Banach contraction within this framework. In 2018, Alqahtani. (2018) and colleagues established several fixed point results for a pair of orbital cyclic functions in an extended metric space. In this paper we prove some fixed point theorems for -orbital-cyclic functions in extended cone metric spaces by using the continuous map φ and a nonnegative constant δ.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"2 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139157673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept of soft topological space is a very recently developed area having many research scopes. Soft sets have been studied in proximity spaces, multicriteria decision-making problems, medical problems, mobile cloud computing networks, defense learning system, approximate reasoning etc. In 2020 Punitha Tharani and H. Sujitha introduced a new class of soft generalized star β-closed (Sft*β-closed) sets and Sft*β-open sets in soft topological spaces. They investigated some basic properties of Sft* β-closed sets and Sft*β-open sets. They also studied the relationship between this type of closed sets and other existing closed sets in soft topological spaces. The aim of this paper is to introduce some soft separation axioms called Sftg*β-R0 space, Sftg* β-R1 space, Sftg*β-T0 space, Sftg*β-T1 space, Sftg*β-T2 space, Sftg* β-regular space and Sftg*β-normal space in soft topological spaces. We investigate several properties and characterizations of this spaces in soft topological spaces.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"10 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139157703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sonochemical pathway is examined as a source of hydrogen peroxide under the pre-optimized condition of acoustic frequency, 200 kHz. The macroscopic model accounting for the performance of the single acoustic cavitation bubble and the bubble population density is combined with the Fe/Cu galvanic cell operating in acidic conditions (pH 3), following a cumulative and instantaneous production approach in terms of Fenton’s reagent. The combination is optimized based on the rate of hydroxyl radicals generated by the Galvano-Fenton process, as a non-selective powerful oxidant against recalcitrant pollutants, then considering the synergetic effect of the hybrid process in terms of HO● pumped sonochemically and via the Fenton based pathway, treated using simulations of the isolated processes then their combined configuration following both aforementioned approaches.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139157872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Universities offering workplace experience courses in their undergraduate programs send their students to companies. During this assignment process, allocating suitable students to suitable companies can be a challenging task, as company demands are limited, and certain companies are more preference after by many students. This study proposes a simulation approach to solve the problem. In the first stage of the study, various criteria for students and companies were identified. These criteria include the total number of students, the total number of companies, student preferences, company demands for students, language skills of students, academic grade point averages of students, subject-specific skills of students, language skills demand of companies, and subject-specific skills demand of companies. In the second stage of the study, student-company matching is performed considering these criteria. The SIMIO program was used to model and simulate this process. The contribution of this study to the literature can be summarized as a simulation approach to the student-company assignment problem. The proposed approach was applied to a university offering workplace experience and the results showed an improvement in terms of performance parameters compared to the existing situation.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"15 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139158748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper looks at how two cutting-edge technologies, Apache Flink and Apache Kafka, work together and how they are changing the way real-time data is processed and analyzed. With its fault-tolerant framework made for collecting data from many sources, Apache Kafka is a leader in reliability and scalability when it comes to ingesting data. Apache Flink is the perfect partner for Kafka because it is great at stream processing and low-latency event handling. This paper carefully explains how these technologies work together to create a complete set of tools for handling and analyzing data in real time. The paper goes into detail about how Flink and Kafka can work together, showing how data streams can be handled and intelligently put together to produce insights that can be used. This set of tools, which was created after a lot of study and real-world experience, helps organizations that want to start using real-time data in new ways. Evaluations of performance, scalability, and real-world applications show that this integrated method has a real effect. Beyond just talking about ideas, this study paper gives organizations a step-by-step plan for how to use real-time data to improve their decision-making. By taking advantage of how well Flink and Kafka work together, companies can become more flexible, quick to respond, and creative.","PeriodicalId":22384,"journal":{"name":"The Eurasia Proceedings of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139159376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
