Perforation creates an artificial communication between a root canal and periodontal tissue, which could lead to pulpal inflammation extends to the periodontium. Management of perforation is a challenging task for clinicians’ inconsideration of poor accessibility and visibility. This case report aims to present a case of furcal perforation treatment by a non-surgical approach. A 24-year-old patient was referred to the Conservative Dental Clinic Prof. Soedomo Dental Hospital to continue root canal treatment on a mandibular first molar (36). The patient had been treated by two dentists before. Clinical examination showed a black area on the floor of the pulp chamber. The radiographic examination showed a little radiolucent area in the furcal region of tooth 36. The palpation test did not reveal any tenderness with no mobility but had percussion pain. An artificial wall was built on the distal wall. Root canal treatment was done by a rotary file with the crown down technique on three canals. Furcation perforation was treated under endodontic microscopic. Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) was placed on the perforation by using the MTA carrier. After MTA has set, bulk-fill and fiber-reinforced composite were placed on building up the cavity. Final restoration made by direct-indirect technique with onlay composite, Conclusion, non-surgical approach of perforation treatment could be done by using MTA under good magnification to achieve proper material placement on the perforation. MTA has a good sealability to repair perforation, and this case could be done successfully.","PeriodicalId":222657,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Innovation 2020–Health Science and Nursing (ICoSIHSN 2020)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128663068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, low levels of asthma control are associated with a decreased meaning of quality of life. Therefore, this research aims to determine the study of asthma therapy in terms of the rationality of drug use and to determine the relationship between the control level of asthma and the quality of life of asthma patients at Rumah Sakit Khusus Paru ‘Respira’ Yogyakarta (RSKP Respira Yogyakarta), a lung hospital in Yogyakarta. This observational analytic research used a cross-sectional approach with 30 patients as the respondents. Patient data were collected from November 2019 to February 2020 using Asthma Control Test (ACT) questionnaire to measure the level of asthma control and Mini Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (MINI AQLQ) to measure asthma patients' quality of life. Analysis of the relationship between the patients’ control level of asthma and the patients’ quality of life used the Chi-Square test. The results showed the rational use of medicine in asthma outpatients at RSKP Respira Yogyakarta was that 30 patients (100%) had the right indication, 27 patients (90%) received the right drug, 28 patients (93,33%) were the right patients, 30 patients (100%) had the right dose, and no side effects were found (100%). Overall, there were 83.33% of patients who met the requirements for the rationality of drug use. The innate immune response to a respiratory infection is characterised by an influx of neutrophils to the lungs, particularly the alveoli. A sustained release of anti-inflammatory cytokines may lead to widespread apoptosis of lymphocytes, resulting in lymphopenia. Hs-CRP is an indicator of COVID-19 inflammation. The aim of this study was to analyse Neutrophilto-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and Hs-CRP in order to predict mortality in COVID-19 patients. Research methods: This research was conducted at Moewardi Hospital in July 2020. The subjects were COVID-19 patients. NLR is neutrophils divided by lymphocytes using a haematology analyser. The examination of Hs-CRP was conducted utilizing the ELISA method. Statistical test with an independent T-test and cox proportional hazard analysis with p <0.05 was also used. Results: The results showed that Hs-CRP and NLR increased in COVID-19 patients who later died and obtained lower levels of surviving (p = 0.001 and p = 0.11). Hs-CRP increased the risk of death for COVID-19 patients (p = 0.18;HR = 1.036) and NLR also increased the risk of death for COVID-19 patients (p = 0.08;HR = 1.34) Conclusion: Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio and Hs-CRP predicted mortality in COVID-19 patients","PeriodicalId":222657,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Innovation 2020–Health Science and Nursing (ICoSIHSN 2020)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114579512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
