Khawaja, Saad Waqar","doi":"10.1109/ncia.2013.6725330","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ncia.2013.6725330","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of the study is to evaluate the service Quality parameters of online banking that determine customer's usage behavior, hence the association among Perceived Risk, Privacy & Security and Perceived Trust on customers' attitude was studied that further influences customers' intention towards usage of online banking in Pakistan. A cross sectional study was conducted, where the questionnaires were distributed among 250 users of online banking of public and private banks. Respondents were selected using random sampling technique, who was students and employees of different universities and organizations. The study suggested that service Quality plays a vital role in determining users' actual usage behavior. It was further suggested that longitudinal study should be conducted in order to view the change in their behavior with the raise in experience and ease of use. With each passing day computers and mobile devices are becoming ubiquitous in our society. In this backdrop the confidentiality of information is now a question of paramount importance. It is understood fact now that merely technical security solutions cannot guarantee security. End users are required to have solid understanding of the security issues. This study is carried out to compare and understand the perceived Information Technology (IT) and Information Security knowledge level of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) users of two countries, Pakistan and Finland. The respondents are university students belonging to different age groups and with different educational background. Perception of respondents regarding Information Security Awareness (ISA) has been compared and no significant difference has been found. There is visible difference among information sharing habits in both groups of respondents. In both cases, respondents turn to similar sources for information security knowledge, however, there is difference in order of preference.
