In this paper Roulette Wheel Selection (RWS) operator with different crossover & mutation probabilities, is used to solve well known optimization problem Traveling Salesmen Problem (TSP). We have compared the results of RWS with another selection method Stochastic Universal Selection(SUS), which demonstrate that the SUS is better for small number of cities; but as the number of cities increases RWS is far much better than SUS. We have also compared the results with a variation between mutation & crossover probability which concludes that mutation is more effective for decimal chromosome. Clustering with constraints is an active area of Social network analysis. Adding constraints to clustering improves the performance of a variety of algorithms. Cluster analysis is concerned with the problem of partitioning a given set of entities into homogeneous and well-separated subsets called clusters. Cluster Analysis aims at finding subsets, called clusters, which are homogeneous and/or well separated. Minimum sum of diameters clustering for two clusters can be solved by reduction constraints into the 2-Conjunctive Normal Form statement. Bus-invert method has been used to reduce inter-wire coupling which is primary source of power dissipation, crosstalk and delay in coupled interconnects. The proposed method focuses on simplified and improved circuit of encoder for 4, 8 and 16 coupled lines. Previously used encoding schemes based on RC models had usually focused on only minimizing power dissipation and crosstalk while paying penalty in terms of chip area. However, our proposed encoder and decoder demonstrate an overall reduction in power dissipation, crosstalk by 57% through drastically reducing switching activity. Furthermore, the complexity, chip area and transistor count of the circuit is reduced by more than 55%.","PeriodicalId":221059,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128030474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At first, a linearly polarised rectangular patch antenna id discussed. The basic rectangular structure is modified using proximity coupled feed to enhance the impedance bandwidth. In order to introduce circular polarisation, the patch structure is further modified into Split Ring structure. An Array of such split Ring is then constructed to increase the directivity and to obtain significant beamforming characteristics. The performance of Split Ring (SR) Array Antenna is investigated in terms of relevant parameters viz. impedance bandwidth, gain, axial ratio and efficiency. The SR Array antenna exhibits qualitatively better performance and could be used for wireless MIMO beamforming applications. 70nm and 45nm. The comparison between three technologies interestingly shows that the effect of line resistive and capacitive parasitic variation on propagation delay has almost uniform trend as feature size shrinks. However, resistive parasitic variation in global interconnects has very nominal effect on the propagation delay as compared to capacitive parasitic. Propagation delay variation is from 0.01% to 0.04% and −4.32% to 18.1 % due to resistive and capacitive deviation of −6.1% to 25% respectively.","PeriodicalId":221059,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127073245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome the various problems in the feeding, a capacitive feeding scheme has used which consist of a radiator patch and a small coplanar feed strip very near to it. The design of antenna incorporates the capacitive feed strip which is fed by a coaxial probe by using equivalent approach. Two slots are used in the radiating patch of the proposed microstrip antenna to increase fringing field results the improved bandwidth. U slot is made at the center of radiating patch to increase the radiating edges which will help in increasing the bandwidth. A constant radiation pattern with improved VSWR bandwidth of nearly 46% and return loss up to −20dB, for an operating frequency of 5.1GHz can be easily achieved by using this simple geometry. The effects of key design parameters such as air gap between the substrate and the ground plane, the separation distance between the radiator patch and feed strip, probe diameter and dimensions of the feed strip on the performance of the antenna are studied and discussed.","PeriodicalId":221059,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126529738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently various research efforts have been devoted to this field. The most recent ones include filtering and threshold methods, wavelet methods, neural networks and others. Each of these methods has different effectiveness and weaknesses. In spite of the fact that their performance is quite apt, the main weakness is that these methods are threshold dependent. Recent developments resulted in threshold free detection of heart rate that involves fixed length RR moving interval, calculated on the basis of normal maximum and minimum heart rate. In the proposed algorithm, we update the length of RR moving interval every time a peak is detected, based on the average maternal heart rate. The effectiveness of this algorithm lies in the fact that it uses optimized RR interval length, which is more capable of detecting a peak towards the end of the ECG which was left undetected using fixed length RR interval algorithm. This algorithm is implemented using MATLAB. The results showed that our proposed approach achieved higher sensitivity compared to the fixed length RR interval approach.","PeriodicalId":221059,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC)","volume":"231 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114202587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
