The aim of this study is to learn the teachers' outstanding performance in online classes during a pandemic situation. There are numerous studies pertaining to students, but none pertaining to teachers. According to the census, some business people earned more money in the pandemic period. In the medical field, doctors, nurses, and other workers did their best throughout the pandemic period. The teachers struggled a lot because of the online classes. Many teachers working in private sectors suffered a lot without reasonable salaries or no salary. In this study, the investigators aimed to study the teachers' performance regarding online classes during the pandemic period. In everyone's life, there exists an individual difference in all the aspects. The study also shows the acceptance of new methodologies, new situations, and new modes among the teaching community. The findings show that there is no significant difference between male teachers' outstanding performance and female teachers' outstanding performance in their online classes during the pandemic situation. In addition, there is no significant difference among teachers' outstanding performances in their online classes during a pandemic situation with regard to their years of experience. The investigator selects a sample of 19 teachers from the whole population. The investigators used the Teachers' Outstanding Performance Scale to collect the data. From this study, the investigators suggest teachers and professors give outstanding performances in their classes. It provides job satisfaction to them. No background variables can affect the achievement of the learners. Automatically, the outstanding performance leads the teachers and professors to the next mile in their academic process. There is no limitation on the welfare of the student's progress. Moreover, the qualities such as motivating, teaching, student's observation, student's feedback, and the results of the learner increase abundantly among the teachers. But the COVID 19 situation has created various problems during the teaching practice which was faced by the trainees of teacher education course. This paper focuses on the difficulties of practice and difficulties faced by the teacher trainees regarding their school practice teaching in online mode without a physical classroom to school students. The major issue is that the education system of our country will hire such trained teachers in the coming years. This research has explored topics such as teaching strategies and learners, distance education and information technologies, prospective teachers and collaboration, science, mathematics, and teacher education. The main purpose of this study is to examine the contributions of research on online distance teacher education and to conduct a bibliometric mapping analysis. Ninety-eight articles published from 1998 to 2021 were included in the Web of Science (WOS) database, which was accessed from a total of 178 publications. These articles underwent text-based mapping and bibliometric data-based analysis for the study. The results indicate that universities on the African continent have conducted more research on this topic. Van Wyk, Barquero, and Blignaut emerged as the most impactful authors in the field, while Garrison, Anderson, Darling-Hammond, Moore, and Perraton garnered the highest number of citations. {"title":"Mobile assisted language learning of students: A qualitative meta-synthesis by ENTREQ statement","authors":"Özer Seda, Akay Cenk","doi":"10.26634/jsch.18.3.19363","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26634/jsch.18.3.19363","url":null,"abstract":"Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is an innovative approach to language learning that utilizes mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to support language learning. MALL has become increasingly popular in recent years due to the widespread availability of mobile devices and the flexibility they offer for language learning. The aim of this research is to interpret and discuss the findings of qualitative research to understand how Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) in English affects language learning through a systematic research method called meta-synthesis. As a result of this meta-synthesis research, academic, convenience, social, or cultural functions, and pedagogical functions codes were reached as the functions of using MALL in the classes from the teachers' perspectives. The advantages of MALL were identified as being portable and convenient, encouraging immediate feedback and self-feedback, improving language skills, increasing learner autonomy, providing a faster way of learning, releasing the pressure associated with traditional learning, increasing motivation, boosting self-confidence, and encouraging collaboration with other learners.
