To this end, we examined Korea's multicultural situation, related laws, and support policies, analyzed the perceptions and an attitudes of the ancient Israeli people from a biblical point of view, compared them with the lives of our people, and derived three practical measures to apply to our society living in a multicultural society. First, it is necessary to recognize that is a role player as a member of our society. Second, it is necessary to create a legal, religious, and social environment for migrants to settle down. Third, it is necessary to abandon the xenophobic attitude toward migrants. In order to analyze the recent use of loanwords, newspaper headlines in sports sections from January 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023, were analyzed. A total of 2,049 newspaper article titles were initially extracted using “K-League” as a key search term in Big Kinds, a big data analysis system for news provided by the Korea Press Foundation, and then the titles of the newspaper articles were checked and a list of loanwords was compiled. As a result, a total of 125 loanwords appeared. Several signifi cant features of loanwords are discovered in this study. Loanwords that appear in the newspaper headlines are single words and complex words. Complex words are created by derivation, compounding, and clipping. {"title":"Exploring Basic Software Education Methods through ICT Literacy Competency Diagnosis for College Freshmen","authors":"Jeong Hee Choi, Jin Hee Ku","doi":"10.54698/kl.2023.13.323","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54698/kl.2023.13.323","url":null,"abstract":"This study was conducted to analyze the results of ICT literacy diagnosis for college freshmen and derive implications for college liberal arts software curriculum based on this. Data collection targeted 3,488 new students at M University in Daejeon in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and compared grades based on ICT-related prior learning, analyzed diff erences in grades by major, and analyzed differences in ICT literacy capabilities. As a result of the study, 940 (27.05%) out of 3,488 respondents over the past three years responded that they had experience in ICT-related programs. The average score of the ICT literacy competency diagnosis of students in the college of engineering, college of education, and college of art and design, who had a high proportion of ICT-related learning experience, was high. While the average score of students at the college of music and college of technoscience, who had a low proportion of ICT-related learning experience, was low. In other words, ICT-related prior learning experience showed a high correlation with ICT literacy competency scores. As a result of comparing the percentage of correct answers by area, the percentage of correct answers in the access and ethics areas was higher than that of other areas, but the percentage of correct answers in the management and sharing areas was somewhat lower. These results are believed to be due to the fact that as the computing environment is moving from PC to mobile, data storage, software use, and development environments are changing to focus on cloud computing. {"title":"Aesthetic Experience in Artifi cial Intelligence Image Generation: Focusing the discussion on the direction of art education","authors":"Ok-Hee Jeong","doi":"10.54698/kl.2023.13.69","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54698/kl.2023.13.69","url":null,"abstract":"Today, art is expanding in terms of economic efficiency with the development of artificial intelligence(AI) technology and opening up opportunities for creation to the general public, just as it has very effi ciently replaced human labor and time. Amid growing interest in copyright and execution subjects in images generated by AI behind the economic benefi ts of the breakthrough development of artificial intelligence technology, this study examines the difference between the aesthetic experience when the researcher drew an actual picture himself and when creating images through AI programs. With the development of ChatGPT utilizing AI, data information processing technology between language and images opens the horizon for new art creation. The implications of this study can be presented in three dimensions in terms of diff erentiated directions from existing art education. First, in relation to developing creativity through thought that can be made up of accumulation of knowledge and long experiential learning, image creation by AI lacks a process of humanistic thinking and needs to be reinforced in terms of learning. Second, the subject of education related to the creation of professional AI images and the setting of educational content and direction according to the subject are required through discussions on whether art AI utilization technology should be taught in engineering fi elds or in art fi elds as a matter of subjectivity and execution power. Finally, in art education, AI should drive a reconsideration of what kind of teaching methods are eff ective and what concepts are required for AI learning in cognitive science and pedagogical theories and methods. In conclusion;with the development of ChatGPT;artificial intelligence opens up the horizon for new art creation through data information processing between language and images;and the purpose and meaning of traditional art education need to accommodate this change and transform in the practice of liberal arts education at a time when the development of these technologies is required. Among 28 Constitution Day speeches, key terms include “National Assembly, Republic of Korea,” “democracy, constitution,” and later, “unification, peace, autonomy.” Notable shifts occur, with “country's constitution” and “constitution establishment, constitution, North Korea” gaining prominence, followed by “democratic constitution,” “presidential election,” and “Republic of Korea.” National Foundation Day speeches (23 in total) highlight “Hongik Ingan, people, culture, history, authenticity,” transitioning to “unification, peace, North Korea, nation-building.” Early mentions of “North Korean Communist Group, national people, ethnic history, 60 million people” shift to focus on terms like “people, nation” later on. In addition, we looked at the new direction of liberal arts education by examining how the beauty and aesthetics of borrowed works help a different appreciation and understanding of classical paintings. Modern art has continued to spread and develop into new art through its encounter with media following the development of science and technology. Media art, a form of combining media with art, generally refers to the introduction of various mass media such as photography, TV, video, and computers into art. Appropriation art, which emerged as a result of the development of media, is the creation of new works by using and transforming images of other people's works. The essence of borrowed art is that it creates a multilayered aesthetic of familiarity and newness seen in borrowed works, creating an aesthetic that is diff erent from the original work. It lies in manifesting. Recently, images from traditional paintings have been copied and used as important motifs in Korean contemporary art. Borrowing traditional paintings in media art can present a new methodology for art education. For example, in the case of Lee Lee-nam's work (2009), the original image is exposed at the beginning of the video, and the composition and structure of the original work, which is considered familiar, is perceived again. This changes from superfi cial recognition of the original work to actual recognition. You can create an opportunity to do so. After appreciating the work with learners, time to analyze and discuss the original work can lead to new refl ections on the original work. In addition, by allowing learners to freely copy and modify traditional paintings using digital technology, it can stimulate a serious attitude and interest in the original work. Through this, it is judged that there will be enough room to break away from the traditional appreciation attitude based on contemplation and become an active subject of appreciation. A total of 22 films were screened at this fi lm festival, including 19 short fi lms, 1 feature fi lm, and 1 film festival support film. Among these works, seven works whose imaginative structure was easy to identify and whose narrative structure was clear were examined. Just as there is an explanation that the human unconscious is structured by language or libido that created the works submitted to this year's Jeongdongjin Independent Film Festival. The typical imaginative structures that appeared commonly at this film festival. Structures were paradox and human insight. The roots was love for humanity and family. It seems necessary to characterize fi lm festivals with specific themes. It may be necessary to plan with specialized themes such as family or the sea. To achieve this, a survey using the Modified Delphi method was conducted with 20 experts, including participants in Han- Tang dance research projects at the selected nine Chinese universities and university instructors. The results categorized improvement factors for the Han-Tang dance education curriculum and approaches into four main areas: Administration and Finance, Organizational, Educational Environment and Facilities, and Professional Staffi ng and Educational Program. To this end, the concept, type and the standards of world cultural heritage were confi rmed. In addition, the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, which has already been registered, and the criteria for its registration were confi rmed. Next, in order to reveal the cultural value of Koryo Theart, the history of Koryo Theart, the relationship between Koryo Theart and Koryoin, and the role of Koryo Theart that continues to this day were examined. In addition, the World Heritage value of Koryo Theart was analyzed based on the criteria for listing cultural heritages similar to Koryo Theart. Considering the historical value of the suppression of minorities and the history of fairy tale policies, starting with the role of the Koryo Theart and the active migration policy, the Koryo Theart has cultural heritage value. In this study, data was collected in the form of 14,879 course evaluations spanning 10 semesters from A University. The variable with the greatest explanatory power to predict the willingness to recommend a course was ‘Course improvement since the midterm course evaluation’. The predictors of willingness to recommend a course were analyzed by course evaluation group. The highest explanatory power was found for ‘Improved understanding of the field’ for the upper group and ‘Course improvement since midterm course evaluation’ for the lower group. Teaching sincerity was the least explanatory variable in both the upper and lower groups. The variable with the largest difference in scores between the groups was willingness to ‘recommended the course’, with the lowest mean score in the lower group. This shows that courses with higher mean scores are more likely to be recommended.
