Different conditions should be taken into account when designing a church. In the sphere of sacred art and architecture one should rationally draw from the treasury of the new and the old. After World War II over 3,500 new churches were built in Poland, including the church in Nowa Huta in Krakow. The second test will be performed at a later stage of works, during the assessment of spatial solutions. This questionnaire will be an assessment of spatial solutions. In the article, the author in this work, will try to explain the important this research technique is in the decision-making process of urban design. Some features of garden compositions were recurring in historical periods differing only in some aspects. In contemporary gardens they are repeated again. To assess the coincidences, a short graphic analysis of the basic features of historical gardens was developed. A tool that has allowed to identify differences and similarities between old and contemporary is the tabulation of composition schemes of well-known historic gardens and comparing the results with the features of the recent developments. This allowed us to investigate whether the same elements of composition, despite 21st century changes, apply today. Work-related activities once performed in dedicated offices had to be moved to private spaces of individual homes, severely influencing how people use their residential space. Living and working conditions have been modified and the balance between them – interrupted. In this paper the authors present a study of the changes in the use of residential space based on questionnaires addressed to respondents in five age groups (up to 25, 26-35, 36-50, 51-65, more than 65), and living or studying in and around Milan (Lombardy), an area affected severely by Covid-19 between March and May 2020. The obtained questionnaire results have allowed the authors to create a set of apartment design requirements, which improve the performance of space. This work presents the method of calculating particular aerodynamic parameters of the urban complex Sustainable Tower Island in KobylnicaLigowiec. The article analyses the wind speed and its pressure on walls of buildings depending on the height above ground level. Impressive megalithic structures were built at the time. Similar stone structures were erected in many places throughout Europe. Large megalithic structures have survived on Malta in areas such as Ġgantija and Tarxien. In other areas, large spaces called hypogea were carved from rock. Both in prehistory and today, stone remains one of the primary construction materials used across the Maltese archipelago. The architectural forms of seaside resorts are now cosmopolitan. The study examines examples of architectural design of preschool institutions in the dense urban development of foreign cities, which are of particular importance for further solving of domestic problems of preschool institutions location in Ukrainian urban settlements.
