The CuO nanoparticles were subjected to low temperature Plasma. The dielectric studies of plasma treated CuO nanoparticles were investigated with the range of frequency between 50Hz and 5MHz at room temperature. The surface properties of nanoparticles were enhanced by plasma exposure and they became hydrophilic rather than hydrophobic, allowing them to absorb moisture and attain high permittivity than untreated CuO nanoparticles.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115132284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dataset preparation, feature extraction, and classification are the three main steps of the proposed method. We use a class transformation method in the dataset preparation phase to maximize the separability across classes. The feature extraction phase employs the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) technique for extracting relevant features and reducing the number of dimensions. In the classification phase, we use Support Vector Machines (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) models to classify the extracted features of honey samples into their botanical origins. We evaluate our system using a standard honey hyperspectral imaging (HSI) dataset. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed system produces state-of-the-art results on this dataset, achieving the highest classification accuracy of 95.13% for hyperspectral image-based classification and 92.80% for hyperspectral instance-based classification.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115687742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, EVs are in need of high-power fast charging station for reducing charging time. These, fast charging stations, induce a stress on the grid networks, during peak hours resulting in power quality issues such as power gap and voltage sag. The objective of this research is to find the simple hybrid power system configuration for EV fast charging to reduce the stress on the grid using matlab-simulink software. A comprehensive model of a PV with grid integrated EV charging station using multiport converter is proposed in this article. A closed loop control technique and power power-flow management is proposed to provide superior stabilisation, on voltage profile, peak power shaving and load balancing. This means that because these parameters are nonlinear, they affect one another. The proposed research concentrated on model and control of the air flow temperature process. A number of hybrid optimization techniques are used in order to build a reliable model and tune an optimal controller for PID, MPC, and IMC. An open loop test is first done to generate the mathematical model, model optimization techniques are then used to improve the model, and finally, the system identification toolbox is used to confirm the model. This unique controller can track settings more precisely and has the capacity to withstand quick changes in loading parameters. Mathematical modelling and controller parameter optimization are performed using hybrid optimization approaches such as Fmincon-GA and Fmincon-PS, and the results are assessed by simulating with respect to time.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125342534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IOT based devices use lots and lots of memories to store multiple datum in the form of images, videos, audios and etc. Due to the capacitor is used in DRAM, which is more power consumed and uses large refreshing circuits. This problem is avoided in SRAM memory cell. The olden days SRAM cell consumed more power and produces more delay. To decrease the power consumption and time, the introduced 6T SRAM cell separates read and write operation and uses sleep transistor more importantly with same amount of transistors. The proposed SRAM array is designed using Cadence (4Snm) and the power measured as 3.6759pW, which is 78.2% of ordinary 6T SRAM array and delay is $87.1mumathrm{s}$, which is 67.8% of the delay produced by ordinary 6T SRAM array.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"271 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116049958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This web application provides an online website for the voters to cast their votes in a secured way. Voting is a process by which a person selects a capable candidate to rule the nation. Presently, vote casting is performed by electronic voting machines. For that the voters have to visit the voting booth to cast their votes. So, it expands the voters’ valuable time. So, in this proposed system the vote casting is performed on a website. It saves the voter's valuable time and makes the counting process easy. The voting application is developed using MERN technologies (MongoDB, Express, React and Node). It helps us to create a secure, fast, easy and error free voting application. The application consists of two modules, the admin panel and the polling website. The database maintains the entire election details about voters, parties, and votes. The voter verification happens based on secret PIN provided by the election commission. This application helps the people to take part in online voting and cast the vote remotely from any place. Thereby, it increases the percentage of voting.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122825914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Iterative hard thresholding (IHT) algorithm and its variants can be considered as a kind of those methods based on gradient descent. Unfortunately, when the objective function has many local minima, the steepest descent typically suffers from being misled into attaining those local minima. One way to facilitate the nonlinear search to be close to the global solution is the preparation for good initialization. In this work, a nonzero index according to signal sparsity is applied as the initial value for the IHT algorithms, instead of all zeros as in the former works. Numerical examples illustrate that the nonzero index initialization can provide lower normalized root-mean-square error of the acquired signal than the conventional all-zeros initialization, especially for numerous nonzero elements in the signal.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128394937","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emotions are dominated by the human physiological communication channels. Those emotions could affect several human activities like learning, decision making, communication, perception, cognitive and so on. Also, some of the emotions are quite difficult to measure and interpret and having difficulty in incorporating them into a technology and design. On the other hand, state of the technologies has enabled us to capture the emotions and integrate them for the use of human computer interaction contexts. This paper delivers an attempt to model the emotions using electroencephalography (EEG). The video stimuli for the two representatives are based on a few negative, positive and neutral contents were shown to volunteers and EEG data was obtained. Further, EEG analysis were experimented and collected about their emotional states with subject's self reports. This study determines that the human emotions could be modelled for affect assessment module or for the usage in human computer interaction and affect based intelligent interactions.","PeriodicalId":217968,"journal":{"name":"2021 Smart Technologies, Communication and Robotics (STCR)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130173323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
