There seems to be no application where the use of deep learning concepts has not been used yet. One such application is the detection of number plates of vehicles on roads. The incidence of automobile crashes has greatly expanded along with the population growth. Their needs to be system that could automatically detect the vehicle's number plate whenever necessary. The situation arises when any of the rider does not obey to the traffic rules, or skips the traffic signals or indulges in any other sort of activities such as accidents. In these situations, the rider tries to run away. In order to detect the person, these kind of deep learning models helps us to detect the vehicle. Image labelers on the roadsides. Need of sensors are required to store the data and they need to be deployed on the roadside. These labelers are used to track the vehicles that are not obeying the traffic rules. With the use of sensors, it could be stated that the use of IoT also plays in the deployment of the current work when it comes to real-time. The model initially is trained with numerous number plates. The number plates have various patterns of texts and numbers and it is essential for the deep learning model to get trained. With successful training, the model is able to detect the new number plates. The model proposed in the current paper is compared with the other existing systems and proves to be efficient and cost-efficient than them.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127167089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing works that implement M-ary PSK using digital logic either have a greater computational complexity due to using arithmetic operations or a more significant area due to using a higher number of LUTs. This paper presents a two look-up table-based modulator capable of generating up to 8-ary PSK at different sampling frequencies with only memory-read operations. From the simulation, it is obtained that the proposed architecture reduces both computational complexity and area without compromising on the characteristics of phase-shift keying.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132271673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clustering approach is more appropriate technique for energy efficient processes to extend their lifetime with a balanced network. The assortment of Cluster-Heads in a distributed network is the dominant task for all researchers. The major factors that influence sensor nodes are that they are malfunctioning due to power reduction, environmental hazards, interference, communication links, collisions, and a few more. Multi-hop communication is used to improve data gathering by reducing the distance among neighbouring nodes. To overcome and balance these problems, a distributed cluster-based routing protocol (DCBRP) using fitness functions as a prototype has been proposed by heuristic methodology. This new DCBRP protocol is simulated using a MATLAB tool and compared with the existing protocol based on performance evaluation metrics like packet delivery ratio, active nodes, throughput, and network life-time.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126994974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are being deployed in numerous applications. There are lot of techniques adopted to make the image distortion free. Methods are also applied when the original image needs to be extracted from the image containing the background. Projective transformation is one of the techniques where we can apply phase correlation among the images and segment the part of the image that is needed for the next processing step. In this proposed work, we have deployed a model where an input image is given. The image is then undergone into various scaling techniques. Use of active contours and graph cut methods are embedded to obtain the segmented image. The key role of this model is to apply the Gabor filters and perform projective transformation among the image to segment the original part of the image from its background. The results are proposed by giving an output in a binary form. The work runs for a maximum of 100 iterations and for that the relaxation factor is taken as 0.5.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128151534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the techniques being used widely in all the application being used worldwide. Healthcare is a field where various new innovations need to be done in order to diagnosis various new health related issues. In today's modern era, the increase in new medications is required at the most. One such application is the diagnosis of lung tumor. Tumors are the cells that do not grow as normally as other cells in the body and leads to many other side effects and if diagnosed lately could also lead to death. Hence, to diagnosis it very early need to new medications and techniques are required. Numerous types are tumors are present and they tend to occur in various parts of a human body. Sometimes they are very easily identified whereas in some cases they get detected only after a long time. Detection of tumor in very early stages is curable and hence it is very important that it needs to be identified very early. In this research, we present a model that uses the Deep Learning approach in order to identify tumors in the lungs at extremely early stages. Through there are numerous researchers working on the same domain, we have enhanced our model with the use of the Quadratic Discriminant Analysis. To detect the tumor in lung, the model initially detects and segments the tumor cells. Once the cells are segmented, the model also classifies if the tumor cells are malignant or benign. The findings illustrate how the suggested model differs from the conventional approaches in a number of ways. The comparative research was carried out, and the data reveal that the model that was presented is better to the other in terms of the amount of time it needs, clocking in at an average of 2.16 seconds.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131875412","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper implements Automatic database duplication with one master database server and multiple slave database servers. The proposed system ensures slave database server replicates data of master server which can be used to restore services in case master server fails. Existing method does this with human intervention which is a time consuming process. Therefore, the proposed system ensures to implement automatic failover capabilities with relatively low downtime and notifying the same using smart alert system. The alert mechanism includes sending an encrypted message notifying the master failure, any deviation from normal working of automatic up gradation software. The messages exchanged are AES encrypted using Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) as IOT protocol. The proposed system implemented with Arduino, Sensors and java keycards. Results prove automatic failover utilizes less resources and system downtime is almost zero compared to manual failover. Using a variety of hand gestures, finger alignment and motion, arm or torso movements, and facial expressions may all help a speaker communicate their views clearly. There are many similarities between spoken and signed languages, but there are also some important differences that speak to why linguists still consider spoken and signed languages to be real languages. Currently, owing to contemporary technology, deaf people may communicate through hand gestures. With each movement of the hands, a different audio message is set up to play. The microcontroller then analysed the data from the accelerometer and flex sensor used to capture hand motions. In order to create recorded sound signals for speaker delivery, the technology makes use of the appropriate signals produced by the flex sensor, which tracks hand movements and detects deflections. There are many different Arduino Boards available right now, and they have many uses. Simply utilising an Arduino Mega 2560 is the greatest choice since it is the most cost-effective, provides faster computing, and can integrate and connect several sensors while using less power. An Arduino setup and a glove make up the bulk of the topical gadget. Four flex sensors are included in the data glove and are strategically placed. Hand signals may be translated instantly. It's possible to recognise all 26 letters just looking at where the fingers are.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114163265","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, fiber-based networks cannot be installed or deployed in remote areas and locations having difficult terrains along with other geographical constraints. Therefore, the integration of optical fibers and free space optical (FSO) links in such locations is an effective approach for establishing high-speed data services for last-mile users. In this study, a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) based 16-channel optical fiber/FSO hybrid system has been proposed for eliminating the crunch of high data rates in geographically challenging locations. The proposed hybrid system can serve 128 optical network units (ONUs) by integrating a single mode fiber (SMF) of 20 km with an FSO link range lying between 0 to 2 km. Furthermore, the tropical locations experience higher attenuation of FSO beam resulting from rainy weather and hence, the system performance has been evaluated for light, medium, and heavy rain weather scenarios. It has been found that the hybrid optical system can transmit the data reliably for the FSO link distance of 1 km under light rain weather conditions only. Additionally, the maximum attainable FSO link range for ensuring a target bit error rate of 10–8 drops by 48.87 % as the FSO channel conditions switch from light to heavy rain.","PeriodicalId":217375,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics and Communication (ICRTEC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121201346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
