With some car producers the base of the antenna is coplanar with the roof, in other cases the antenna is mounted on a cast. The cast changes the antenna pattern considerably. For example at high elevation angles with a 9 mm cast the antenna gain is reduced by 2 dB in comparison to a situation where the antenna base is coplanar with the roof. This effect occurs in a similar manner with patch antennas. In this paper a crossed frame SDARS antenna is presented and it will be shown by which means the diagram can easily be modified and adapted to the specific mounting situation. The short TSA without dielectric is proposed as an element of antennas array in frequency range above 2.4 GHz. The modeling of antenna by means of the WIP-D program is described. The measurements results of one element and antennas array are presented. This approach is derived from a time-frequency representation of the received signal by means of the short time Fourier transform. The receiver consists of an analog section containing bandpass filters followed by a bank of analog-to-digital converters (ADC), while digital processing then synchronizes the receiver and compensates for channel impairments. The filterbank receiver is analyzed in terms of error probability over multi-path channels, leading to a closed form expression of the bit error probability under the hypothesis of synchronized reception. Simulation results for non-line of sight channels show that the performance of the proposed receiver is close to the matched filter bound even with a moderate number of filters. We present a testbed has been implemented to provide a practical demonstration of the capabilities of the FB receiver. This paper describes a state of the art GaAs FET switch IC based, high dynamic range step attenuator topology using SMT MCMs operating from DC to 6 GHz that has low loss, low distortion, fast switching speed with minimized transients, and low cost. These modules use light from high intensity LEDs reflected off of the package lid in a novel, low cost manner to provide compact, inexpensive elimination of the gate lag effect commonly associated with GaAs FET based switching, such that this attenuator provides an amplitude stable output within 20 mus of when a change of attenuation state is initiated. This feeding method has been successfully applied to the design of simple passive microstrip antennas and active integrated antennas, AIAs. By feeding the slot with a microstrip line, a triple-resonance response is obtained from the chassis, slot and microstrip stub interaction, providing sufficient impedance bandwidth and radiation efficiency to cover the 0.9-2.7 GHz frequency range. While the introduction of a slot in the ground plane has many advantages over e.g. PIFA or patch structures, both in terms of performance and cost, the circuit floor planning becomes more complicated. To address this problem, a possible solution in terms of module partitioning and signal line routing is suggested. The quadrature signals are derived from a 10 GHz CMOS VCO followed by a bipolar frequency divider. The image rejection of the upconverter is as low as -38 dBc for an input frequency of 100 MHz. Phase noise at 1 MHz at the upconverter output is below -112 dBc/Hz. The two chips were produced in a 0.25 mum SiGe BiCMOS technology. The theoretical results show that the length of the fibre is constricted to a maximum limit in a standard system. This feeding structure is DC shorted for DC loop monitoring. In addition, the proposed structure combines the merits of the stacked patch antennas and L-shaped feed for broadband operation. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 1060 MHz (51%). The measured antenna gain is about 8.1 dBi and HPBW in the H plane is about 67deg. This radiation element can be used for 3-sector base station or repeater antennas.
