It also determines the values of the company whether the company is a professional and trustworthy in keeping information both internal corporate information as well as information from the user side. But in carrying out its functions, the company would meet a variety of information security threats. Confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and non-repudiation is information security aspects that concern the company to maintain business continuity and achieve its goals. Therefore, companies need to conduct a information security management. Based on the requirements above, the authors want to design a framework that can be used by companies to manage the security of information on the company. This framework will be the foundation for the company to implement the Information Security Management System in the right direction. This is done by adopting the ISO 27001 standard of the ISMS and mapping all aspect to company’s perspective. ISMS Framework are often high-level and theoretical, and do not offer practical suggestion to support their operationalization or implementation by practitioners. Here, the author presents a practitioner-oriented ISMS Framework to support XYZ Company.","PeriodicalId":216908,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Wireless and Telematics (ICWT)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130710012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Filter can be easily analyzed by the general theory of equivalent circuit which refers to a theoretical circuit that retains all of the electrical characteristics of a given circuit. Equivalent circuit simplifies calculation and facilitate the analysis of equivalent circuit. In this final project, it will be shown two types of equivalent circuit, they are equivalent circuit of microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) without defected ground structure (DGS) method and equivalent circuit of microstrip bandpass filter using defected ground structure (DGS) method. Equivalent circuit will be designed using a circuit software simulation. The procedure of simulation is conducted by determining the equivalent circuit comprised of lumped elements and then changing the value of each element, i.e. capacitor and inductor. The effects of varied element value are analyzed to investigate its relationship to the value of reflection and transmission coefficient of BPF, S11 and S12. Equivalent circuit of microstrip BPF without DGS method being modeled has a bandwidth of 3.9GHz ranges from 2.15GHz-6.05GHz. As a communication service provider that is highly related to IT, 'X Service Unit' has not been applying IT service management (ITSM) practices properly. This has resulted in dissatisfaction from service users and inability to perform the required level of information security. In this paper, ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) v3 has been chosen as a guidance to plan the service strategy for 'X Service'. The design process is preceded with a literary study to have a good understanding in ITSM and ITIL v3. The next step is a field study that is done to understand the existing condition of 'X Service Unit'. After analyzing the results of the mentioned studies, a strategic planning guidance based on ITIL v3 is designed with four strategy components, 4P, namely: Perspective, Position, Plan, and Pattern. This strategic planning guidance then has been successfully applied to design the strategic planning for service X for 2016-2020. In this paper, ITIL v3 Service Strategy [1] will be used as a main framework to design service strategy planning for the ,'X Service'.","PeriodicalId":216908,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Wireless and Telematics (ICWT)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126915762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DTN concept is started from the problems of using TCP/IP on the environmental conditions that are not conducive to end to end connectivity with high delay and disruptions between nodes. The goal of this work is to design the scalability of the DTN based network, by implementing epidemic routing algorithms and independent deletion mechanism in the real environment. The epidemic algorithm commonly has a good delivery rate, merely not well for network resource use. To reduce the excessive use of network resources, this work implements an independent deletion mechanism. This mechanism is divided from the core DTN process. The entire algorithm is implemented in Perl, running in unix system. Applications used for benchmarking this system are using email. From the real world simulation, by implementing independent deletion mechanisms achieved low storage utilization while keeps good delivery rate with the epidemic routing algorithm.","PeriodicalId":216908,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Wireless and Telematics (ICWT)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122908788","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to enable telecommunication between the terminal, the nodes should be connected by links. Many factors are considered in designing a network, such as the number of nodes, type, position network elements, and also routing information, the network planning process has several challenges from the optimization point. This issue is classified as NP-Hard. One practical example issue of this NP-hard is creating a ring topology for some nodes on optical network telecommunication. This issue known as Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). In this paper, we are interested to propose an algorithm to solve the TSP. The goal of this algorithm is to find the minimal solution which is used to form a ring topology that have minimum weight/cost. To test the proposed algorithm, the results obtained compared with Ant Colony Optimization algorithm, both minimum value and computational time. From the test shown that the proposed algorithm is better than ACO. From the test with three different data, it can be concluded that for the number of nodes 20 until 50, the proposed algorithm has average 15% better than ACO to find minimal solution to solve TSP.","PeriodicalId":216908,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Wireless and Telematics (ICWT)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116192828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
