Cervical discs are the cushionsthat can link the vertebrae in the upper back and neck. When the gelatinous inner disc material, the nucleus pulposus ruptures or herniates through the outer cervical disc wall it can lead to herniation. Some herniated disc causes no symptoms but other disc related problems can irritate nearby nerves and result in pain, numbness or weakness in an arm or leg. In this work, cervical spine abnormal (herniated) Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) are taken for classification. Generally, there are four stages of herniation in cervicalspine named as disc degeneration, disc prolapse, disc extrusion and disc sequestration. These herniated cervical spine images are transformed into herniated canny images, because canny edge detection algorithm is better to provide high image quality and allows removing of any noise in an image. Artificial Neural Network classifier is used for classifying the different stages of images. It follows the supervised learning method, and is the process of learning to separate samples into different classes by finding common features between samples of known classes. In this paper, various stages of herniated canny images are processed with different level of combinations of texture features are analyzed. Classification is done on different stages of herniated cervical spine images. This classification is used in different variants and utilizes it with suitable algorithm to improve its performance.","PeriodicalId":209727,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130481599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is always an easy task for humans to derive some insights from the expressions. But it is a complicated task for machine to derive it by using Computer Algorithms. But recent developments in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning has enhanced the availability of resources so that it become possible to derive certain conclusions from the input we are giving to particular Machine. This paper is planning to propose an approach to find out what emotional stage the particular person is running which is termed as Facial Emotion Recognition using Convolutional Neural Network (FERC). The FERC constitutes two parts: The first part of this Convolutional Neural Network is used to remove background from an image and second part is used to extract features from facial expressions. It consist of a database of around 10,000 image. The final layer which is a perceptron which works in series with two layer Convolutional Neural Network. The Perceptron is used to adjust weights and exponent values after going through each iteration. Again a background removal is applied just before generation of Emotional Vector. This will help us to avoid from multiple problems which can occur. Using Two stage CNN model we found out accuracy near about 84.92 percentage which is a better value based on insights from 24 values. The Two Layer CNN works in series where remaining layer is used to adjust weights after each iteration. FERC follows an exactlynewapproach compared to Single stage CNN and thus enhancing the accuracy. Further it uses a novel background elimination procedure compared to technology of EV earlier existed which could avoid coping with coping with more than one troubles that may occur. FERC is employed with about more than 28K pictures by using FER2013 dataset. We can make use of FERC in many cases including predictive learning, Lie detection… etc.","PeriodicalId":209727,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO)","volume":"219 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123315252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The creation of a more efficient traffic management system is hampered by the absence of a realistic traffic simulation data. Missing data is one of the fundamental causes of hindrance, because it will certainly result in inaccurate predictions of congestion levels and less effective reconfiguration. Both future traffic data mining and real-time traffic monitoring are impacted by these missing numbers. In this paper we used transfer learning-based algorithm to fill in the gaps of those missing data. This process of data recreation will help the existing traffic management system by improving its accuracy and efficiency which will directly improve the working of traffic simulation models and traffic route optimization systems.","PeriodicalId":209727,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123188637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Especially when the target is to deal with the complex user specific diaphanous products, the integrity of additive manufacturing with such design optimization techniques introduces the practicality in the application. This paper focuses on how the structural simulation in the early design phases can make a splint more comfortable for the user, without compromising its strengthening properties. A custom finger-splint has been designed using 3D scans, processed under structural simulation followed by topology optimization and validation and then fabricated from additive manufacturing using PLA (Polylactic acid). The optimization results show a considerable weight reduction (3.524 gm for 60% retained mass) of 30.52 % from the un-optimized one (5.072 gm for 100% retained mass). Also, removing access material can assure the ventilation ease to the limb and provide the user with sweat-free comfort.","PeriodicalId":209727,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO)","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116841166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By minimizing the area between the fluid and the inner tube wall, which is maintained in the axial direction of the flow channel, the work's goal is to maximize convective heat transfer. In the current work, the twisted tape-type heat enhancers of various lengths and pitches are used and contrasted with one another, as well as plain tubes. The author examined different parameters such as HT coefficient, Nu, and instantaneous η in this work. The experimental findings showed that tape-induced swirl or vortex motion significantly impacts the increased HT rate of the twisted-tape inserts. Compared to plain tubes, full-length twisted tape inserts are found to enhance the heat transfer coefficient by a maximum of 175.7%, while full-length turbulators raise the nusselt number by a maximum of 178%.","PeriodicalId":209727,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127538364","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
