In each area, 10 sampling points were randomly distributed, using three samples of topsoil to represent each point. The samples were transported to a shade house and evaluated for six months, where emerging individuals were identified every two weeks. Floristic similarity was evaluated with cluster analysis based on the Jaccard index (SJ). Species richness and abundance of individuals were compared using Student's t test. In F1, 2,114.94 propagules m-2 were registered, belonging to 51 species and 24 botanical families, Shannon-Wiener diversity index H’=2.770 and Pielou evenness index J’=0.705. In F2, 1,168.62 propagules m-2 were registered, belonging to 42 species and 22 families, H’=2.618 and J’=0.700. The (SJ) between F1 and F2 was 0.61, indicating a high similarity. The results showed high density of propagules, good diversity and absence of ecological dominance. The aim of the study was to evaluate the potential contribution of non-timber forest products to smallholder farmers in arid and semi-arid regions. The research was carried out as a survey and data was collected using interviews, questionnaires and focus group discussion. Data was analysed for descriptive statistics using IBM SPSS version 25. Results indicated that 64 % were females and 36 % were males with the majority of participants being married (57.6 %) with only 8.8 % being widowed. Results show that all respondents (100%) indicated that they obtain fruits from the forests as a major source of food during winter and rain season. Vegetables (84.2 %), thatching grass (80.8%) and edible worms (62.5 %) were also major non-timber forest products obtained from the forests by participants. All participants (100%) indicated that income generation, firewood and source of heat for brick moulding were major benefits they obtain from forest with vegetables (74.2 %), brooms (91.7 %) and improved nutrition (85.0 %) being regarded as other important benefits enjoyed by local people from forests. Afforestation and reforestation were regarded as major sustainable forest management practices by all (100%) participants with agroforestry being indicated by only 12.5 % since people had no knowledge about it. NTFPs has capacity of improving food security, human livelihoods and alleviate poverty. People are encouraged to harvest NTFPs sustainably to allow future use. Esse otimismo pode funcionar como um mecanismo que impulsiona a criação de vagas no mercado de trabalho. Neste contexto, este artigo analisa a existência de relações de curto e longo prazos entre o desemprego e expectativas e confiança de empresários da indústria e comércio. A análise econométrica empregada foi a de estimação pelos métodos ARDL, OLS e GMM. Os resultados revelam que expectativas mais otimistas dos empresários, no longo prazo, se traduzem em queda dos níveis de desemprego com impactos de redução de 0,28% a 0,30% para cada 1 ponto de melhora nas expectativas. Essa matriz permite a exploração de diversas linhas analíticas envolvendo as principais variáveis econômicas de fluxo e estoque, mostrando-se um instrumento de ensino e pesquisa em economia simples e intuitivo. Descrevemos a estrutura da SAM vertical brasileira para o ano de 2016 e analisamos o padrão de pagamento de juros entre os agentes econômicos e o comportamento do resultado primário dos setores institucionais ao longo do período 2000-16. For, given the global financial crisis of 2008, the researchers realized that the models proposed until that moment were not able to present an adequate answer to the origins and evolution of that crisis, and the reason would be in the fact that this modeling does not include interaction of the financial market with the rest of the economy. So in the last decade much academic effort has been used to analyze the conduct of central bank monetary policies in an environment with financial frictions and the role of macroprudential measures. In this way, it can be concluded that financial frictions explain a large part of the changes in the product against other macroeconomic variables, causing changes in the financial conditions resulting from the increase or decrease in credit spreads to influence the equilibrium relation between the basic interest rate and aggregate demand, as well as the relationship between economic activity and inflation. Investiga-se como essas utilizações consideraram a possibilidade de adequação destas distintas teorias na estruturação lakatosiana. Em seguida são analisadas algumas críticas existentes a esse procedimento, que consideram impraticável a MPPC para a ciência econômica. As mudanças de preços das commodities e da taxa de câmbio nominal mostraram-se relevantes para o entendimento da dinâmica inflacionária destes países. Assim, este trabalho teve por objetivo analisar os determinantes da inflação na República Democrática do Congo, entre janeiro de 2005 e dezembro de 2015, utilizando o modelo dos vetores autorregressivo (VAR), por meio das funções de resposta ao impulso (FRis) e da decomposição da variância do erro de previsão (DV).
