The vehicles are usually contains a lot of compositions, while the vacant parking spaces' composition is relatively small. According to this characteristic, we segment the parking image. To judge whether each parking area has a large number of small split or not, can achieve the detection of the parking stalls. In this paper, we improve the Mean Shift algorithm and achieve the accurate segmentation result. This proposed method was tested on indoor and outdoor parking lots. The result confirmed the efficiency of the proposed method, with the detection rate being over 97%. But, this method fails to detect non-vehicle objects and when the Vehicle color and ground color is very similar. So we the introduce the texture features, use LBP (local binary pattern) to extract the parking texture feature. Using the complementary between features and ultimately to achieve accurate detection.","PeriodicalId":208089,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Multimedia Information Networking and Security","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126251495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The RLS-MARS model is to find a series of directions in multidimensional space, leading the gradient vectors to change along those directions which would make the gradient matrix's gradient descent, during the procedure, the feature in this direction can be easily selected. TF-IDCFC (Term Frequency Inverse Document and Category Frequency Collection normalization) weighting method is proposed to measure the features, by using category information as a factor. Our experiments on 20Newsgroups and Reuters-21578, all of those results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new feature selection method for text classification.","PeriodicalId":208089,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Multimedia Information Networking and Security","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133072860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We carry out extensive simulations to investigate the benefits of sharing physical nodes. The simulation results demonstrate that (1) Compared with the existing integrated VNE algorithm, the proposed algorithm performs better in terms of the VNE computing time and the VN request acceptance ratio and the Revenue-to-Cost-Ratio. (2) Compared with the existing VNE algorithms which allowed sharing physical nodes in a VN, the proposed algorithm reduces the computing time without sacrificing other performances.","PeriodicalId":208089,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Multimedia Information Networking and Security","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114361495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
