Este estudo objetiva investigar como empresas de grande porte do e-commerce brasileiro buscam formar relações com seus consumidores, por meio de políticas de devolução lenientes, sob a perspectiva das trocas sociais. Para tanto, empregou-se estudo qualitativo interpretativo básico, a partir do conhecimento de nove gestores que atuam em três empresas. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de documentos públicos e entrevistas semiestruturadas e os dados foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Os resultados revelam que esforços dos varejistas em desenvolver as trocas sociais com consumidores, a partir de confiança, reciprocidade e comprometimento, resultam em políticas de devolução mais tolerantes. As empresas que possuem capacidade para atender a demanda de devoluções desenvolvem práticas para aumentar a satisfação e reduzir os riscos percebidos pelo consumidor, incentivando a confiança, e buscam criar uma relação recíproca e comprometida, que contribui para avaliações positivas e intenção de recompra. Como contribuições, este estudo investiga o e-commerce, em destaque no cenário mundial, e um fenômeno que reflete no desempenho das empresas, mas carece de investigações: a devolução de produtos. Agrega à literatura gerencial, evidencia como a teoria se aplica na política de devolução e na relação entre varejista e consumidor.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136106603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Departing from the confusion created between the notions of research and teaching, I contend that the postgraduation level is not “the” space for research in management in Brazil, but a place to teach how to perform the research. I present during my reasoning how this confusion creates distortions in the Brazilian management postgraduate programs as well as in the assessment system coordinated by the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level -or Education- Personnel (as known as CAPES). I suggest the master degree as an education level for teaching and the doctorate level for research.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"39 17","pages":"169-180"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141207341","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study contributes to the Organizational Studies field by problematizing identities under construction that pass through various social and organizational spaces that need to be rethought in order to understand this process as much broader than merely aesthetic in the strict sense of this term. The research is qualitative and involved interviews with semistructured scripts with women who have been or are going through the transition to natural hair, whose discursive statements were analyzed through the theoretical-methodological approach of the french discourse analysis. The main results show that the interviewees, when passing through the transition to natural hair, had their identities resignified and such resignification brought relevant changes in their relations in society and in organizations.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"48 22","pages":"227-256"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141207097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to do so, questionnaires were carried out and focus groups were conducted with a semi-structured script of interviews among undergraduate students of management, and the data produced were analyzed through content analysis. It is concluded that, although authors declared class death as a social marker, class is a social marker of identity in the studied context, thus producing hierarchies and economic, cultural and social inequalities. In a culturalist analysis, management students define class considering both objective and subjective aspects, declaring the relevance of class in less developed societies and evidencing the high level of social stratification present in Brazilian society.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"24 11","pages":"181-202"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141207561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this, we used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Following an online survey that resulted in a sample of 229 higher education instructors. The collected data was analyzed through the Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). The results show that compatibility has a strong influence on perceived ease of use, perceived utility and attitude towards use. Moreover, attitude towards use also has a relevant effect on the intention to use WhatsApp as an educational technology. Finally, the results suggest that higher education instructors, when evaluating mobile learning technologies, consider the compatibility with their values, needs and experiences, combined with the perception of how useful it can be in the classroom, as relevant factors in forming a positive attitude towards using the new technology, such as WhatsApp in this case, for teaching purposes.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"24 19","pages":"257-279"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141207556","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are subjected to social control by a large hegemonic group, which determines what is considered \"normal\" in society (Pereira, 2009). In this sense, this work aims to understand the stigmatization of femininity in organizations, from the perspective of the gay subjects. Nine (9) male gay subjects were interviewed, all from the state of Rio de Janeiro. The interviewed subjects are involved in different professional activities, with different levels of education. The corpus of the research was analyzed through content analysis. It has been found that the stigma of femininity can be understood from the moment that the \"feminine being\" is seen as inferior to man by society and organizations, through the use of words or means of behavior in order to maintain the masculine heteronormative power.","PeriodicalId":205018,"journal":{"name":"Revista Eletrônica de Ciência Administrativa","volume":"50 19","pages":"203-226"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141206929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
