The filter is consisting of two symmetrical multiple-mode resonators (MMRs) connected to quarter-wavelength interdigital lines. This filter provides, in the passband, an insertion loss of 0.19 dB and a return loss greater than 22.6 dB. Furthermore, the filter occupies an area of 11.54 × 3.11 mm2. In this filter design, besides obtaining a uniform in-band transmission response, a notch band centered roughly 5.2 GHz is created by modifying one of two arms in the coupled-line sections. The simulation results are in satisfactory agreement with the measurement ones reported elsewhere. This technique is applied directly on the leakage current waveforms, and the high frequency components are extracted from the leakage current signal using the wavelet transform technique. The networks reconfiguration is determined by opening and closing switches devices. This reconfiguration can be static or dynamic. In static reconfiguration, the loads are assumed to be constant, while in dynamic reconfiguration loads are assumed to vary according to time. In this work, a dynamic reconfiguration considering the load variation was proposed. A minimum spanning tree (MST) based on Kruskal's algorithm has been applied to find the optimal reconfiguration under multi times, with minimizing the total power loss as objective function. The study was based on simulated surface electromyographic (sEMG) signals generated in a cylindrical multi-layer volume conductor (bone, muscle, fat and skin) and detected by longitudinal single differential (LSD), inverse binomial of order two (IB2) and maximum kurtosis (MKF) systems. We calculated correlation coefficients of sEMG signal generated from parallel fibres and sEMG signals detected when the fibres inclination angle (FIA) varied from 0° to 360° by a step of 5°. The results showed that the CC decreases as the FIA increases. Moreover, for each pair of sEMG signals, the effect of the fat layer thickness on CC was negligible. The signals detected by LSD system were more correlated at low MVC level than the high MVC level. Mathematical models that predict the behavior of the column are highly useful to improve the working conditions of distillation columns and increase throughput or lower energy consumption. This paper models a pseudo binary distillation column using a black-box model and was accomplished using the parameter estimation function in Matlab's System Identification Toolbox. The column that was the subject of this study is installed at the SKIKDA refinery and more precisely at the Isomerization unit. Identification data was generated using set-point perturbations in control variables under proportional-integral control. The real data collected from DCS was driven to MATLAB using OPC Server/Client communication when the server is located in DCS package (EXAOPC SERVER) and OPC MATLAB Toolbox as client. The temperature of the top and bottom of the distillation column was selected as the controlled variables (System Outputs); the reflux and boil up flows are the manipulated variable (System Inputs). This specific kind of antenna array has two basic functions; direction of arrival estimation and beamforming. This paper investigates the performance of Direction-of-Arrival (DoA) estimation of the Minimum-norm algorithm and its derivative Root-min-norm. In order to improve the performance of these two DoA algorithms, a simple modification related to the signal used by the antenna array has been proposed. The performance of the algorithms has been evaluated for a uniform linear array. All these advantages have made CS, researched and applied in numerous speech-processing applications. In this paper, we compare ℓ1-minimization and Iteratively Reweighted Least Squares (IRLS)-ℓp-minimization algorithms to reconstruct speech signal from compressive observations. Using random Gaussian matrix, Compressive Sensing is performed on Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) coefficients to evaluate the performance of algorithms based on Perceptual Evaluation Speech Quality measure (PESQ) and computational complexity for different compression ratios. This paper presents a Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH)-Neural Network (NN) approach for forecasting wind speed (Ws) and wind power output (WPO) in the short-term. Wavelet denoising is used to filter the high frequency outliers in the Ws data, consequently, enabling a smooth training of NN on Ws. The performance of the wavelet denoising-GMDH-NN investigated using historical Ws and WPO. The calculation of Electromagnetic field EMF and the analyses of the distribution of this EMF are under High voltage on overhead power transmission lines, and also the computation of induced current produces in human body is important to analyze in this paper to determine the biophysical aspects of electromagnetic fields.
