It is shown that the accumulation of the Upper Permian and Lower Triassic terrigenous complexes occurred under the influence of competing sources with two contrasting provenance signals with Neoproterozoic (Vendian)-Paleozoic and Paleo-Mesoproterozoic ages. The identified provenance signal patterns were used to detail the correlation and stratigraphic subdivision of the Permian-Triassic terrigenous complex of the Moscow basin. Raman spectroscopy of detrital zircon, first applied to the Permian-Triassic rocks of the East European platform, made it possible to identify sedimentary complexes of a relatively older terrigenous basin as a separate source of zircons, which experienced superimposed thermal impact in the VendianCambrian time (~500–600 Ma).","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The studied rocks belong to a series of highly ferriferous and metaluminous A-type granitoids (ASI index <1). They are characterized by SiO 2 45–65 wt. %, K 2 O+Na 2 O up to 12 wt. %, MgO <4 wt. %, TiO 2 up to 2.5 wt. %, and Al 2 O 3 up to 17 wt. %. CaO varies in a wide range, from 2.2 to 14.7 wt. %. The rocks are similar to each other in trace element composition and show patterns with troughs for Th-U, Nb-Ta and Ti. Low-amplitude negative Eu anomaly is observed in the distribution spectra of rare earth elements for the entire rock complex. The obtained Sm-Nd age of sviatonossites in the Malobystrinsky massif is 487.1±6.1 Ma (MSWD=0.99). Our results indicate that syenites and monzonites have εNd (t) –1.9…–2.8, at εSr (t) 21–30, and sviatonossites have εNd (t) –3.8…–4.1 at εSr (t) – 26. Model ages T Nd (DM) for all rock types are Mesoproterozoic (1.3–1.4 Ga). Based on the chemical and Sr-Nd isotopic composition of the magmatic rocks studied, it can be assumed that they have been generated by partial melting of lower crustal rocks (amphibolites). Crystallization of andradite garnet in syenite magma can occur due to melt contamination with metamorphic host rocks of the Slyudyanka complex.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of such interaction can dramatically affect both the ecological situation and economic activity. Hydroisostasis, as one of the consequences of the change of sea level during glacial-to-interglacial changes and the resulting change in the solid earth’s surface loading, affects the stress-strain state of the interior part of the earth. Until recently, the study of the role of hydroisostasis for the Russian coastal regions was not sufficiently involved in research activity. In this work, special attention is paid to two aspects that cause and accompany hydroisostasis: a decrease in the level of the World Ocean by about 120 meters during the last glacial maximum about 20 thousand years ago and involvement of layers of the lower mantle in its accompanying deformations and displacements.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136038418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this region, there was developed the substantiation of a scheme of tectonic zoning and there were proposed structural characteristics of faults and lithofacies features of the section. Evidence was found of a complex, multi-stage tectonic evolution. There were discovered potentially promising stratigraphic oil and gas complexes of the Late Paleozoic and Mesozoic. The deep-seated structure of the region is illustrated by a geological and geophysical section, spatially coincident with the \"Turkestan\" seismic profile. Based on the lithological and paleogeographic reconstructions, there were identified four major tectonic boundaries: Cambrian-Ordovician, Devonian-Carboniferous, Permian-Early Triassic, and Middle Triassic-Cretaceous. The correlation of the stratigraphic range of the hydrocarbon potential of the Alakol basin has been carried out. The criteria for forecasting hydrocarbon accumulations were substantiated.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we used the published research data as the main contributor to an in-depth analysis to determine the mechanism of the presence of Sukadana basalt in the back arc. This study is supported by other studies from different regions around the world. These strengthen our conclusion that the emergence of Sukadana basalt on the surface is controlled by extensional deformations associated with the northwest-southeast-trending normal fault, which are formed by the mechanism of gravitational subsidence due to the movement of the Sumatra fault. In this study we suppose that the Nishimura fracture is a sinistral strike-slip fault as it is consistent with the Riedel shear model.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136038411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Pribrezhny volcanic complex is comprised of a number of closeset volcanic massifs stretching chain-like along the narrow coastline of the Beregovoy ridge from the Avacha Bay to the Vestnik Bay. The relevance of the work is related to the necessity of revising the geodynamic history of formation of the study area which stems from emergence of some fragmentary, contradictory information about magmatic complexes of South Kamchatka. The paper presents the data on magmatic rocks penetrated in the coastal cliffs of South Kamchatka. Consideration is being given to their formation conditions in the context of a once-popular theory of geosynclines and in that of plate tectonics. Based on the review, several open research problems are formulated concerning the undetermined propagation limits of the Pribrezhny volcanic complex and unknown time intervals of its formation, and the lack of mineralogical and isotopic-geochemical studies of magmatic rocks. A separate research problem is the formation of transitional zone between the continental margin of Kamchatka and the Kuril Island Arc. The paper shows the relevance of the study of the Pribrezhny volcanic complex of South Kamchatka and proposes possible solutions to the research problems. A detailed mapping of the junction zone of Pribrezhny volcanic complex of South Kamchatka and the Kronotsky terrain near the Malko-Petropavlovsk zone of transverse dislocations will make it possible to refine the age and kinematics of their relationship. Determination of rare elements and strontium, neodymium and lead isotopes will provide a possibility to clarify the nature of magmatism as compared to heterochronous volcanic series of South Kamchatka. The data obtained will be needed to study magmogeneration conditions for acid volcanism of South Kamchatka and monogenic volcanism of the Malko-Petropavlovsk zone of transverse dislocations. The paleomagnetic studies, along with dating of rock absolute age, will help to reconstruct the paleolatitude of formation of the Pribrezhny volcanic complex and to restore the geodynamic evolution of formation of South Kamchatka.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study is to construct a model of the lithospheric structure of the region using decomposition of anomalous gravitational and magnetic fields and inverse problem solving for components of gravity and magnetic fields, respectively. The decompositions of the fields were provided by the singular spectral method in the software package \"R 4.3.1\". The inverse problems were solved using the programs of the \"Integro\" complex. The components of the fields help to identify and analyze buried geological structures. The rift system of the White Sea is most clearly represented by the fourth component of the gravitational and magnetic fields. The positions of density and magnetic inhomogeneities of the Earth’s crust corresponding the components of the fields have been determined. The component model is compared with the seismic density and magnetic models of the lithosphere along the 3-AР geotraverse (Kem – White Sea Throat).","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"174 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rank analysis as applied to specialized mapping of fault zones was made for heterochronous rock complexes: Paleozoic, Upper Oligocene – Lower Pliocene and Upper Pliocene – Quaternary. There are distinguished three regional stress fields: Pre-Cenozoic compressive stress field with the NW-SE striking principal axis and two Cenozoic tensile stress fields with different axial orientations. The Cenozoic tensile stress field with a sub-meridionally striking minimum compression axis may be an earlier occurrence because it was found to exist in the Paleozoic and Oligocene – Early Pliocene rocks, and the tensile stress field, with the NW-SE axial orientation, may be later occurrence as reconstructed for all rock complexes including Quaternary pebbles. No evidence was found of tectonic shear stresses within the studied segment of the Chersky fault zone. Consideration is being given to probable reasons for the absence of residual shear deformations in the region and to the problems in the study of hierarchy of the upper crustal tectonic stresses.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the recent factual evidence in this region indicates the occurrence of magmatism of a different composition and age. This evidence includes kimberlite indicator mineral found in the sedimentary cover of the syneclise. Kimberlites or magmatic rocks of a different composition are not yet known there, so that any other signs of the presence of this type of rocks therein are of importance. As such a sign the authors consider a boulder of metamorphic rock found in the Archean greenstone succession in the lower reaches of the Sinyaya River at the southeastern flank of the Vilyui syneclise. The rock is similar in its mineral composition to garnet-staurolite-kyanite schist typical of the Barrovian metamorphic rocks series. The rocks of this mineral composition are common in the greenstone belts of the Aldan-Stanovoy Shield. In particular, they are typical of the Tungurchin metapelite unit of the TemulyakitTungurchin greenstone belt exposed in the western part of the shield. The straight line distance between the sratotype area of the Tungurchin Formation development and the place where the boulder was found is more than 600 km southwest of the Sinyaya River. So it is unlikely that the boulder was just transported along the Lena River basin and then to the Sinyaya River by, for example, the Quaternary glacial ice. A more realistic way the boulder appeared in the place where it was found would be its transportation from depth by volcanic pipe, i.e. the boulder is a xenolith from volcanic pipe. The volcanic pipe can be within a radius of a few tens of kilometers or less. The Archean basement therein lies at at a depth of a few hundreds of meters to 100 meters which implies transportation of so large xenolith to the surface during the volcanic pipe formation. Therefore, it can be implied that magmatic events occurred in the form of the Jurassic-Cretaceous or probably Middle Paleozoic volcanic pipe intrusion into the Sinyaya River basin area where the metamorphic xenolith was found.","PeriodicalId":203555,"journal":{"name":"Geodinamika i Tektonofizika","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136037651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
