It is obvious that countries cannot make the globe into what it once was. This study intended to ascertain the competency gaps among Electrical/Electronics professors in colleges of education in North-East Nigeria in order to deliver content effectively in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic. The study used a descriptive survey research design and was led by two research questions and two hypotheses. The study's 62 participants were drawn from Federal Colleges of Education (Technical) in North-East Nigeria, where there were 49 lecturers and 13 technologists.There was no sampling because the complete population was used. As a tool for data collection, the researcher created a structured questionnaire titled Questionnaire for Lecturers' Competency Needs in Teaching Electrical/Electronics Curriculum Content in the Era of Covid-19 Pandemic. The instrument was validated by three professionals, and the Cronbach Alpha reliability method yielded a reliability of 0.87. The study questions were answered using the mean statistic, and the hypotheses were tested using the t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Learning Management System (LMS), Computer Managed Learning (CML), Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI), Synchronous and Asynchronous Online Teaching Strategies are among the teaching strategies that needs improvement, according to the study's findings in the area of COVID-19. It was also discovered that lecturers need to develop their skills in using interactive whiteboards, PowerPoint, and online tools like LMS, CML, and CAI, among other things. As such, College administration should make sure that the ICT unit located at the institution holds training sessions for instructors on the various e-teaching apps. In order to keep lecturers' abilities in the use of ICT facilities up to date, the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) should make sure they receive refresher courses on a regular basis.","PeriodicalId":203141,"journal":{"name":"June-July 2022","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114983148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Students from SRM University in Amravati, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, took part in the study. 52 engineering students from diverse branches make up the sample size. The participants were given a questionnaire using a four-point Likert scale. The majority of students believe that instructor feedback is insufficient to help them to improve their writing, which is the study's problem statement. The objectives are to help the student write more effectively. Peer correction is the method used in this study. In this study, a Community Language Learning (CLL) approach was used. The results and findings demonstrated that the students' involvement improved both their writing abilities and motivation. The students may improve their involvement in class discussion based on the teaching and learning process by using the Community Language Learning (CLL) method, even though there were occasionally grammatical errors. The students were also comfortable writing in English, but after employing the Community Language Learning (CLL) technique, they gave positive feedback.","PeriodicalId":203141,"journal":{"name":"June-July 2022","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134342039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, upon further study of the melodic and textual structure of the choral writings of Newlove Kojo Annan’s music, I consider it necessary for a discussion since the introduction of word-based phraseology which was crafted from this paper, and other stimulating practices such as the proper use of stressed and unstressed syllables, speech and song melody, and few others have been detected in the construction of the text-melody relationship. In summary, this article presents an analytical work revealed from both music scores and recordings (audio visual) of the selected works, which gives a panoramic view, and serve as a guide for advance study and research in music composition. From my frame of reference and vantage, few recommendations are made in the structure of the works. The study discusses three selected (at random) works of Newlove Kojo Annan.","PeriodicalId":203141,"journal":{"name":"June-July 2022","volume":"181 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131425277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The overarching goal is to increase our understanding of innovation, as well as the difficulties and dangers that people involved in the creation and use of ILEs face. We start by highlighting a few crucial factors for academics involved in ILE projects, which put a focus on participatory methods to innovation and educational and social transformation at the forefront of the work. Bioethanol is a renewable clean-liquid biofuel produced by fermentation of sugars or converted starch or cellulose from plant based feedstocks. It is conventionally produced from sugar and starch containing feedstocks. However, these feedstocks are unable to meet the global demand of bioethanol production due to their primary food value and legal pursuits against the legitimacy of their schemes. This study investigated and improved on the feasibility of producing bioethanol from rice husk agrowaste generated from rice production. It was first subjected to different physico-chemical pretreatments in order to optimize the hydrolysate sugar yield and identify the most effective process. It was further hydrolyzed by cellulase enzymes from Trichoderma ressei micro-organism isolated from the soil. Separate hydrolysis and co-fermentation (SHCF) and simultaneous saccharification and co-fermentation (SSCF) strategies/methods were adopted using both hydrometer and Pycnometer measurements. The fermentation results revealed that the maximum bioethanol yield through SHCF and SSCF strategies were 4.64 and 6.45 (% w/v dry biomass) respectively. SSCF strategy was more effective as it gave better bioethanol yield and was less time consuming. This study also shows that rice husk agro-waste of no or little commercial value can be utilized in the production of good quality bioethanol with implications for improved waste management, income and efficient energy generation.","PeriodicalId":203141,"journal":{"name":"June-July 2022","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121571722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
