The present study was planned in the year 2021-2022 to investigate the implications of drought stress on eight genotypes viz. ASHA, MH-318, MUSKAN, PAU-911, PM-5, PUSA, SAMRAT and Satya with complete randomized design under control and +drought stress for phenology. According to combined analysis of variance, there were significant effects on phenological traits Days to 50% Flowering, Days to Pod Seating, Days to Physiological Maturity and Relative water content under the drought stress condition. Genotype PAU-911 followed by MH-318 showed maximum in Days to 50% Flowering (45.5 and 44.0), Days to Pod Seating (50.1 and 48.7), Days to Physiological Maturity (76.9 and 72.5). According to combine analysis of variance, there were significant effect on physiological traits Relative water content (92.9 and 85.4), Canopy temperature (34.2 and 32.7) and Chlorophyll content (48.4 and 46.6) under normal as well as drought stress condition. Effect of drought reduced phenological parameter and ultimately reduction in yield. In the current study the anticancer activity was assessed using the MTT assay on the MCF-7 breast cancer cell lines. In addition, the Quantitative Real Time PCR analysis was carried out to study the expression of p53 genes. The analysis revealed that, Cisplatin exhibits an IC50 value of 5.51 μg/ml when used as a positive control in MCF-7 cell line, whereas the silver nanoparticle extract at the same concentration exhibit an IC 50 value of 56.74 μg/ml. The MCF-7 breast cancer cells that were treated with the Cissus quadrangularis stem mediated silver nanoparticles showed down regulation of the p53 gene, going from 1.0 fold in control cells to 0.43 fold in the treated cells. The relative gene expression of the control is usually set to 1 in comparison to the test sample. In accordance with the MTT test results, the synthesized AgNPs have moderate anticancer efficacy. Abiotic stress causes extensive alterations in cellular processes and affect many elements of plant physiology. Because plants are sessile, they have no choice but to respond to these. In this review, we have summarized our current understanding of Triacontanol (TRIA), a key growth-regulating signalling molecule in plants and its response to plants under different abiotic stress condition. The growth promoting role of TRIA in agricultural plants under abiotic stress has been focused on its synergistic interaction with phytohormones and induction of 9-βL(+) adenosine, which has a similar structure to that of cytokinin. The current paper examines the role of exogenously applied TRIA in morpho-physiology and biochemistry of plants in terms of growth, photosynthesis, mineral and nutrient acquisition, yield and quality under stress as well as normal condition.
