In particular, we exploit both amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward protocols along with time switching and power splitting schemes at the SWIPT-enabled relay node. Under the considered system setup, we analytically derive the throughput expressions by i) examining the outage probability under delay-limited transmission mode, and ii) examining the ergodic capacity under delay-tolerant transmission mode, over Nakagami-m fading. The numerical and simulation studies verify our theoretical findings and provide several observations into the system’s throughput performance for various involved system/channel parameters.","PeriodicalId":201741,"journal":{"name":"2021 Advanced Communication Technologies and Signal Processing (ACTS)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114998287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
