The most common predictor of restoring menstrual function in girls with this pathology is body mass index change, however normalization of weight does not lead to remission in all cases. Thus, estimation of fat percentage, insulin-like growth factor, and leptin is more effective. We suggest directing further research on the study of more effective methods of reproductive disorders correction and the development of multidisciplinary clinical guidelines for the effective diagnosis and management of eating disorders and any gynecological complications.","PeriodicalId":19997,"journal":{"name":"Pediatric pharmacology","volume":"94 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141674089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the significant progress made in the instrumental diagnosis of this group of diseases, their treatment in most cases remains formalized, based on fairly strict schemes. In this context, an urgent area of modern research is to study the effectiveness of the use of diet therapy and certain foods in order to modulate the activity of the inflammatory process, which allows avoiding adverse reactions of immunosuppressive, including immunobiological, therapy. Adherence to the Mediterranean diet has proven its effectiveness in the treatment of chronic non-infectious diseases. Recent studies have also established its benefits in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. Recent studies have also established its benefits in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. This article will present the results of modern research on the effect of the use of olive oil and its components on the course of inflammatory processes in the intestine. A number of studies conducted in vitro and in animal models have revealed the mechanisms by which olive oil and its components have a positive effect on the course of inflammation in the intestinal wall through anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory and antitumor effects. Few clinical studies conducted on patients with inflammatory bowel diseases have shown the possibility of using diet therapy with the addition of olive oil in this group of patients as an additional treatment.","PeriodicalId":19997,"journal":{"name":"Pediatric pharmacology","volume":"73 s312","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141682426","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The immediacy of the problem is due to the mutual influence of allergic and neuropsychiatric conditions combined in a child on the course of these diseases. According to research, the connection of respiratory allergic diseases with disorders of neurodevelopment, in particular with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorders, is clearly manifested, and the first publications on the connection with speech and other mild cognitive impairments have appeared. At the same time, the formation of depression, suicidal behavior, and anxiety disorders in respiratory allergopathology is being actively studied. It is assumed that the close relationship between nervous and immune regulation provides a high correlation of allergic and neuropsychiatric pathological conditions, although cause-and-effect relationships have not yet been precisely established. In this regard, it becomes relevant to introduce into clinical practice monitoring of cognitive status, neuropsychic development and possible symptoms of anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts in the treatment of children with respiratory allergic diseases. Timely detection of violations will make it possible to provide specialized interventions at an early stage in order to achieve a favorable treatment result in the long term.","PeriodicalId":19997,"journal":{"name":"Pediatric pharmacology","volume":" 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141680369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Systematic reviews are considered the highest evidence of the effectiveness and safety of treatment methods used in clinical practice. The veracity of a results and conclusions of systematic reviews is directly related to their quality. The aim of the study is an assessment of the currency, completeness and methodological quality of published systematic reviews on the evaluation of the effectiveness of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) for the treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Materials and methods. A meta-epidemiological methodological study was conducted. The search for evidence sources was performed in November 2023 in the specialized databases MEDLINE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), LILACS, CNKI, LENS.ORG, еLibrary.Ru, in registers ClinicalTrials.gov, ICTRP, ISRCTN, PROSPERO, as well as in the Google Academy and Google search engines. Additionally, the lists of references and citations of selected publications have been reviewed. Only systematic reviews and randomized clinical trials are included in the study. The search was carried out to assess the currency and completeness of systematic reviews. A systematic review is considered currency if the most recent studies are included in its analysis. A systematic review is considered complete if its analysis includes all identified studies that meet the inclusion criteria set by the review authors and are published no later than the date of the last search conducted by the review authors. The methodological quality of the systematic reviews was assessed using the AMSTAR-2 tool. Results. As a result of the search, 4 systematic reviews and 23 randomized trials were identified. All reviews evaluated the effect of UDCA in combination with phototherapy on the level of total serum bilirubin, the duration of phototherapy and the frequency of adverse events (for example, loose stools, vomiting, rash) compared with phototherapy alone and/or placebo. All systematic reviews have been published over the past two years, but have already lost their currency. There are missing studies and/or outcomes in each review. The methodological quality of the reviews was found to be extremely low. Conclusion. Given the listed shortcomings of systematic reviews, their results and conclusions should be treated with caution. In order to obtain the most accurate and reliable evidence, a new systematic review is needed.","PeriodicalId":19997,"journal":{"name":"Pediatric pharmacology","volume":" 1286","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140989045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, oncological diseases and their possible prevention are being actively studied. Cancer mortality remains high. A national project “Healthcare” has been started in Russia, including the Federal projects “Fighting Cancer” and “Development of Children’s Health Care, including the creation of a modern infrastructure for providing medical care to children”. In a number of regions, girls can be vaccinated against the human papillomavirus (HPV). The main reason for refusing HPV vaccination is an unfounded fear of negatively affecting the fertility and other bad data. The aim of the study is an investigation of the reproductive system of adolescent girls with completed course of vaccination against HPV using quadrivalent vaccine. Methods. We selected 65 schoolgirls in Moscow by analyzing medical documentation data. All of them were vaccinated against HPV and examined by a gynecologist. The state of their reproductive system was assessed. Results. Most girls received the vaccine at the age of 12–13, according to the regional vaccination calendar of the city of Moscow. They were vaccinated with the quadrivalent vaccine twice with an interval of 6 months; no adverse event was noted. The mean period of time since vaccination was 2.7 ± 1.1 years. The mean age of menarche, mean menstrual cycle length, and mean bleeding time were normal in girls vaccinated against HPV. Among menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea and oligomenorrhea were most often observed, but the data did not differ from the population average. The incidence of abnormal uterine bleeding and breast pathology was lower. No papillomas were detected. Pubertal development corresponded to age of all girls. Conclusion. It has been established that vaccination against the human papillomavirus does not have a negative impact on the reproductive system of teenage girls. However, additional dynamic studies are needed at different age periods of girls and women vaccinated against HPV to confirm the positive effect on the sexual sphere and formation of strong adherence to vaccination.","PeriodicalId":19997,"journal":{"name":"Pediatric pharmacology","volume":"124 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140987158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
