In European states, actions were initiated and implemented meant to stimulate the performance of the administrations. The way of public sector capacity development differs for each state of European Union; some of them are able to reconsider the basics of the administrative system, while others are considering mechanisms for achieving and quantifying performance in the public system. The Romanian public administration is developing its entire capacity with support of local and central institution, by developing and implementing projects able to reduce bureaucracy and being a real support for citizens. In this context, quantifying the projects` results in comparison with citizens` opinion represents a useful analyse which can offer a better framework of public administration system development. The most recent and relevant indicators which can be taken in consideration in order to evaluate the administrative capacity are the digitalization systems created in the last period and citizens ‘opinion about the progress in administration by their last interaction with public institutions. Thus, the main goal of this article was to evaluate the efficiency of EU funds spending on projects with digitalization component versus citizens` opinion about the improvement of administrative services.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117337924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the part of society, it is expected that organizations will work in the interest of society and have a sense of obligation to it, to be concerned with solving the problems they have caused. Therefore, the organization should have ethical standards and practice a solid organizational culture and social responsibility to ensure the sustainability and success of the business. The paper aims to address social responsibility and business ethics concerns by building the framework of relationships between social responsibility (SR) and organizational ethics (OE) and determining the moderating effects of organization's reputation (OR), organizational communication (OCm), employee engagement (EE), and organizational culture (OCt). Following structural equation modeling, the paper determines the relationships between the variables and the moderators between these variables. The research results show that CR and OCt strongly moderate the relationship between SR and BE, while OCm and OCm slightly moderate the relationship between SR and OE.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114467876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Green Human Resource Management has gained the attention of the top management in any sector. This study intends to identify the factors that affect Green Human Resource Management, including organizational culture, leadership and personal character. The academic staff of a state university is the individual unit of analysis. As a cross-sectional study, the study was conducted in a non-contrive setting, with minimum researcher interference. Three hypotheses have been developed to test the nomological network/conceptual framework. The study’s findings suggest that leadership directly impacts Green Human Resource Management and has no impact on other factors. This study adds new knowledge to social exchange theory and has significant policy implications for universities.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"128 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132090416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Today's society's tendency towards quick profits has led to the need for an increasingly meaningful application of business ethics perceptions to maintain legal and moral standards. Young people represent a category familiar, in general, with the theoretical notions that define the conceptual framework of business ethics (by completing courses specific to the university curriculum in economic sciences) or, finding themselves at the beginning of their professional life, confused business ethics with loyalty and fairness professional. The work presented is a study based on a survey that had as a tool the questionnaire made in order to highlight the ethical behavior in business, the elements that define it, the factors that influence it, and the At the same time, the main unethical behaviors specific to the three categories present were identified in an organization – manager (as an individual), management team, employee. The results showed that there are reciprocal influences between the three behavioral types. The adoption of a moral commitment and the foundation of an ethical conception can be achieved through education or by observing a diverse code of ethical conduct through which to provide an answer and/or solutions to the problems related to organizational practices. The ethical profile of businesses is important in order to attract and positively involve all stakeholders, which leads to obtaining competitive advantages but also to the consolidation of a healthy economy.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124379423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rethinking the importance of ethics within public organizations helps to strengthen public managers as supporters of commitment and motivation at work of employees, and enablers of public values within society. Public managers help to drive public organizations towards future, promoting ethical behaviours and public values that contribute to maintaining public trust and improving democratic life. Rediscovering the value and practice of ethics enables the organisational dimension, leading to public managers as facilitators of collaborative processes that involve the citizenry and the community. Public organisations aim to ensure a proper ethical framework so that staff in public organisations serve the public interest, manage public money properly and make fair decisions for a modern, transparent, and therefore honest public administration. In this study, we focus on the role of the ethics advisor in promoting ethics and organisational integrity in the public sector, starting from the assumption that the ethics advisor is essential for implementing the ethics standard, as well as for promoting ethics and organisational integrity in the public sector. People develop a sense of ethics based on culture, faith, and ethnicity, which makes each unique. Using online information, and most social media, most cases of violation of ethical norms can be observed. Social media encompasses and covers a large scale of websites, but the link between all of these sites is the ability of users to interact. Although, not long ago it seemed just a trend that skeptics have claimed and insisted will not be successful, is now attracting more users than ever before as it grows by billions of dollars, evolving to the point where if you don't exist in online as a person, but especially as an organization, you can't succeed. All the actions a social user makes make him/her vulnerable, and that is why during time ethical standards were set clear to protect users’ rights and privacy. The changes in the Internet over the last two decades have led to major changes in people's lives. Thus, online activity has become a Wild West, which has led to Cyber Ethics - a philosophical study of ethics on the Internet. In-depth information from online users can lead to the avoidance of fake news as well as the avoidance of certain risks. Through this paper, we highlight that many principles of ethics are violated, mostly knowingly. Many social media players violate these principles to obtain various financial benefits, manipulate, and misinform. With each passing day, we notice more and more illegal information about economic, political, and social events. A correct information process and appropriate and up-to-date legislation can lead to respect for both human rights and ethical values.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115877758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Has the risk of social dumping become a permanent problem within the European Union meant that the European legislator has provided answers to the question: has European legislation taken sufficient, effective, and concrete measures to enable the European legal mechanism to combat this phenomenon? The article aims to analyze how the European space integrates into the global economic environment. The secondary purpose is also to identify how it can protect itself from the risk of social competition posed by trade with the rest of the world. Social dumping is the result of differences in the levels of development of the Member States of the European Union. In addition, the social variable would not have been as important if the working conditions in those countries had been the same. Given that the notion of social dumping has received many interpretations over time, currently, the notion does not have a clear definition, namely that of economic dumping, we can say that based on exploring the literature the term social dumping is viewed through a paradox. To explain this paradox, we can start from the finding that a state even if it has a lower level of social protection does not necessarily mean that it can develop the risk of social dumping.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134283978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the liberalization of capital movements, FDI was consider the panacea that could solve all economic, environmental and social problems in the host less developed countries, but the reality is much more complex. In order to test if foreign direct investment (FDI) is caused by competitiveness in case of Romania, we considered FDI inflows externalities for national economy, net inflows (% of GDP) and Competitiveness index for the time period 2007-2018. The econometric methodology used to model FDI and Competitiveness Index is Granger Causality. The results of the study suggest that there is a unidirectional causality, flowing from Competitiveness Index to foreign direct investment. Thus, in case of Romania, foreign direct investment represents the result of competitiveness, FDI does not influence Competitiveness index.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114801691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most often a person saves to buy a house, a new car, a holiday in a place they haven't visited or for unexpected situations. To have a balanced financial life it is essential to save, as it reduces stress or other problems that may arise in everyday life. The main reasons why a person saves are emergencies, having loans we want to cover in advance and goods we can't buy with our regular income. The best way to protect savings is not to keep the money in the house, but to open a savings deposit at a bank. The truth is that when money is in the house we are more tempted to spend it and so the whole process of saving takes a turn. In this paper I propose to address a topical issue of particular importance to the savings process in the banking system. Thus, we will show an analysis of the evolution and highlight the trends that have taken place in the context of inflation, certain microeconomic factors, but also in the context of the economy at the national level. We have also captured the moments when events at the national level have had a direct and visible impact on deposits in the banking system.","PeriodicalId":198570,"journal":{"name":"Global Ethics - Key of Sustainability (GEKOS 2022)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134341013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
