ZnO thin films were deposited on a p-Si semiconductor and a glass by chemical spray pyrolysis. ZnO thin film were analyzed using Uv–Vis spectroscopy to study the optical properties. The microstructure were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman scattering and SEM microscope. Electrical and photovoltaic parameters of ZnO/p-Si structure were determined by current–voltage (I–V) in dark and under the light. The results showed that the ZnO film has a strong c-axe orientation with good crystal quality with high transmittance (90 %) and large band gap about 3,4 eV. The device has a large rectifying property about 6.51 ideality factor and 103 $Omega$ series resistance values. The maximum efficiency of ZnO/Si solar cell is 0.36 %. A set of independent latent variables named principal components (PCs) are created by a linear combination of the original system variables. In the field of sensor fault detection and diagnosis based on PCA, several types of monitoring statistics are well established for enhancing fault detection, where the filtered SPE and SWE statistics are used in this work. After detection, process malfunctions are identified by applying an adequate fault isolation technique. However, various approaches of fault isolation have been suggested in the research literature. In particular, this article presents an improved DTC method based on the backstepping technique of an induction machine supplied with voltage by an inverter controlled by a Space Vector Modulation (SVM). For this strategy, the rotor speed, the electromagnetic torque and stator flux are selected as virtual state variables, and then a beckstepping controller are designed to produce the components of the stator reference voltage. Then, depending on its voltage components, the pulse width modulation is used to produce switching states of the inverter. On the other hand over a wide operating range of the machine the variation of the stator resistance due to heating degrades the performance of the DTC. To solve this problem an estimator has been developed to compensate for each variation in the stator resistance of the machine during operation. The results obtained by numerical simulation show the effectiveness of the proposed control method. This system simulates the dynamic of a helicopter, which is a kind of UAVs; they are the interest of nowadays researches, in particular the control of this system. This drive system supplied by two voltage source multi-level converters (MLC) and controlled under indirect field oriented control (IFOC) technique. Furthermore, the multi-level converter is used to reduce the harmonic currents and torque pulsations. The FFT spectrum of the currents and output voltages is presented and analyzed to show the reduction of harmonics. So, they showed that the total harmonic distortion (THD) decreases as the number of levels increases. These WEEEs, which contain a wide variety of materials whose treatment and recycling require the development of new electrostatic separation technologies. This installation has allowed the separation of several plastic granular mixtures. The preliminary experiments were carried out to determine the influence of some parameters on the installation. The design of the proposed controller overcomes backstepping control problems by using an explicit dynamic model of the converter suitable for implementation. The proposed method is based on the replace the classical speed controller with ADAptive LInear NEuron (ADALINE) The parameters of speed neuro-controller are tuned and optimized during the online process to obtain the high possible drive dynamics. The comparison with the conventional vector control under identical conditions shows that is the proposed controller represents a good comprise between Superior performance and reduced calculation.. The simulation results presented the strength, and superiority of the proposed structure compared to the standard method in transient response and even in parameter uncertainties. The linguistic material used is a corpus of Arabic expressive sentences phonetically balanced. The dependence of the system on speaker is an encountered problem in this field; in this work we will study the influence of this phenomenon on our result. The targeted emotions are joy, sadness, anger and neutral. After an analytical study of a large number of speech acoustic parameters, we chose the cepstral parameters, their first and second derivatives, the Shimmer, the Jitter and the duration of the sentence. A classifier based on a multilayer perceptron neural network to recognize emotion on the basis of the chosen feature vector that has been developed. The recognition rate could reach more than 98% in the case of an intra-speaker classification and 54.75% in inter-speaker classification. In fact, the automatic recognition of characters from natural scenes allows providing many information for peoples such as the language translation from smartphone or the address identification from a camera transported in a vehicle. Hence, most of the systems are implemented for recognizing the English language by employing different robust descriptors and classifiers. However, few works are dedicated for the Arabic characters. Also, this paper aims to focus on the use of a recent descriptor namely the Histogram of Principal Oriented Gradients (HPOG) that is used in our best knowledge for the first time in character recognition. For classification, the One Class-Principal Component Analysis (OC-PCA) Classifier is used for recognizing Arabic characters in natural scene.
