More than five million lives were claimed during the conflict of the DRC. It caused heinous destruction to properties, infrastructure, impeded national growth, and caused a lot of citizens, especially women and girls to suffer greatly, in addition, stereotyping the nation as “the rape capital of the world”. It is against this background that this study sought to delve into the case of the DRC to explore why the DRC was tagged “the capital of rape in the world”. To find out why rape was used as a weapon of war against women and girls. To explore whether it was a way of money-making by the influence of external bodies or a belief. This study employed a qualitative approach relying on administered questionnaires, literature from publications, presented papers, journals, books, and useful websites. Pert the findings or results, rape cases in the DRC is not a belief, but rare cases and in a way, money-making on the part of some NGOs and indigenes. This paper concludes with some questions: Are neighbouring countries and international organizations still trooping in to exploit the natural resources of DRC? Is the DRC truly the “rape PEOPLE: International Journal of Social Sciences ISSN 2454-5899 43 capital of the world”? Is this not a myth or probably a stereotype since some NGOs offer natives the platform to inflate the figures based on forging rape to get medical attention? This is a wake-up call for the African Union, the United Nations, Human Rights Watch etc. to take strict measures to curb the menace (violence against women and girls during conflicts or wars).","PeriodicalId":197416,"journal":{"name":"PEOPLE: International Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121937467","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper is based on the assumption that these three theories help individuals understand the causes and reactions of other human behavior. In organizations, the way people perceive daily responses or interactions affects everyone's judgments and actions. Awareness of self-emotions and appropriate attributions of others' reactions would enhance positive behavior within organizations. Reference to the most relevant literature review is discussed and linked to these three theories as well as the positive impact they create when interrelated with cultural awareness. The main points in each theory are highlighted, followed by a claim that justifies their possible effectiveness in contributing to positive organizational and employee behavior. According to this paper, organizing workshops within the work environment that address positivity theories and their impact on positive behavior will help bridge the gap between individual and organizational cultural values, increase self-awareness and understanding, and boost togetherness, collaboration, and positive attitudes toward others.","PeriodicalId":197416,"journal":{"name":"PEOPLE: International Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122648142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of course, this is true for most of the legal branches as well. But fewer legal regulatory fields can tell that there is a relation between the parties with a specific nature of trust. Of course, this is not classic trust, but it is similar. The relation between the employer and the employee usually supposes a relation based on long-term personal contribution in which all the participants have their task, right, and obligation. We are talking about a complex relationship system in which personal nature and stability have an especially important role. I want to illustrate the impact of digitalization on employment through the principles of labor law. To this end, I will focus on the general behavioral requirements of digitalization. I will also explore the meaning of the principles in this changed context. It will be necessary to regulate future forms of employment, but it will also be necessary to find the relevant legal basis. This article seeks to identify these legal bases.","PeriodicalId":197416,"journal":{"name":"PEOPLE: International Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"328 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122328112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
