Unlike the traditional cross-correlation method, which implies the calculation of the cross-correlation function between the signals with the same frequencies, the modified method is based on preliminary calculation of several inner products of the analyzed signals with the auxiliary sine functions with different frequencies. The removal of bias is attained by the specific selection of frequencies of the auxiliary sine functions. Paper also presents the results of the comparative analysis of noise stability of the conventional and the modified cross-correlation methods under the affect of the additive and normally distributed noise contamination. The results of simulations have shown a higher level of noise stability of the modified method for the case of low values of phase shift between the analyzed signals. For the case of values of phase shift close to $90^{mathrm{o}}$ the conventional cross-correlation method has shown a higher level of noise stability and its applying still remains preferable.","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129976321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Hamming neural network is an effective tool for solving these problems when the initial information is given in the form of bipolar vectors. However, when comparing binary objects with qualitative features, more than 70 different distances (proximity measures) and proximity functions of binary objects are used. Synthesizing dozens of neural networks for matching binary objects is too laborious. Therefore, a universal approach to the synthesis of such neural networks is proposed. In addition, the Hamming network can select only one object from its memory that is closest to the input. It cannot function normally if there are two or more such objects. The proposed neural network does not have this shortcoming. And last but not least, a neural network with this architecture allows you to calculate various distances and similarity measures of the input data and data stored in the network memory","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129980131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Literary sources analysis shows a further tendency for increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the total energy balance of the country and a particular increase in electricity consumption by electric traction. Goal. The main goal of the study is a method development with its practical application to impact estimation of power-boost points that connected to the traction network with energy using from renewable sources on short-circuit currents values. Methodology. The method that has developed in this study is based on well-known approaches for equivalent circuits of electrical equipment definition, but elemenst pair like «solar panel - inverter» it reproduces as EMF with equivalent resistance, which significantly simplifies further calculations. Results. The study results show that the application of power-boost points will not lead to a significant increase of short-circuit currents in the traction network even if the power of photovoltaic sources will be comparable with the power of existing converting units on traction substations. This is because of the physical nature of the photovoltaic panel and its power mode which usually closer to the current source with high internal resistance. Practical value. This also allows us to conclude that in most cases from the point of view of changing the short circuit currents the integration of power-boost points that are powered by solar power plants is quite possible with operating sections of the traction power supply system.","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124135440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most serious is precession of vortex rope, which usually occurs at partial load modes, and significantly limits the operating range. In order to determine the level of such pulsations and the influence of presence of ribs inside the draft tube, a numerical simulation of unsteady flow in the model of the draft tube of the Francis pump-turbine of the Dniester HPP in turbine mode was carried out. Selection of the most suitable turbulence model was made based on a comparison of calculation data and data obtained as a result of experimental studies. The comparison was made both for values of total pulsation amplitude on surface of the tube diffuser, and for the frequency-amplitude characteristics, which show a satisfactory correspondence in frequency, but a significant difference in amplitude. Using flow data in experimentally determining modes, a simulation of flow in the draft tube with ribs installed in the vertical diffuser and designed to reduce the level of pressure pulsations at partial loads, was carried out. As a result of the analysis of received data, the optimal size of additional elements was determined.","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123766984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The importance of this task lies in the fact that the organization of accurate control of the parameters of the microclimate will ensure optimal climatic conditions for the development of plants and fish, and create an environment as similar as possible to the natural one by timely control of parameters and a quick reaction to the output of parameters at critical values. For the analysis, three series of measurement results of the control indicator (water temperature) were used. The analysis confirmed the hypothesis that there are no violations of the stability of the temperature sensor, which makes it possible to recognize the metrological sensor as reliable. It is proved that the problems of increasing the likelihood of controlling objects with stochastic parameters, and controlling their metrological reliability are relevant and are important for the development of the theory and practice of non-dismantling control.","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126501344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aimed to increase validity of the indicators of asymmetry in the coronal body plane concerning a scoliosis about first grade pupils. Methods. Thirty-four pupils of six-seven years old (eighteen boys and sixteen girls) were randomly assigned in equal shares into experimental and control groups. Besides the standard physical education lessons, pupils of the experimental group had physical rehabilitation program specifically designed to prevent and reduce the asymmetry of a posture. From the very beginning and just before ending of the academic year, pupils were tested on the asymmetry of a spine column in the coronal plane. Results. The improved indicator was determined as a half sum of a magnitude of differences of the upper sides of Moshkov rhombus and a magnitude of difference of the lower sides. Conclusions. The indicator of a body asymmetry in the coronal plane, proposed in this work, which took into account the shape of the whole spine, made it possible to achieve consequently stronger significance (p=0.02) compared with a generally accepted indicator of the curvature of the neck area of the spine (p=0.05), which indicated significant improvement of the test validity.","PeriodicalId":197096,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 3rd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121598048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
