This study determined the predominance source of stress among health sciences students in Malaysia. Methodology: Medical Student Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ) represents 40 events possible sources of stress. was distributed to 248 health science students. Result and discussion: The MSSQ showed satisfactory level of psychometric property in the health science students. The main source of stress was the academic related stressor Conclusion: Academic requirement is the major stressor for the students. This finding is consistent with the literature and appropriate measures should be sought to prevent its unwanted consequences. \u0000Keywords: MSSQ; Allied health; Stress disorder ; Academic related domain. \u0000eISSN 2514-7528 © 2018. A total of nine local authorities was studied. Data was mainly obtained from interviews, observations and written sources. The variation in the Campaign implementation progress can be explained in term of campaign internalization among local authority top leadership. This study conducted to explore the perspectives of body image among obese adolescents in rural settings. An interpretative phenomenological design used to interview 14 obese adolescents aged 13-17 years old in rural Selangor, Malaysia. The findings showed most of the participants expressed their dissatisfaction with their body image due to their interaction with their surroundings environment, while some showed no worries about being obese. \u0000Keywords: obesity; adolescents; body image; rural. \u0000eISSN 2514-7528 © 2018. They often developed on a relatively small plot of land, with the project’s size smaller than two hectares, and developed with a small number of housing units. This study attempts to examine households' preferences in the urban and suburban areas of Bandung. Two different gated community developments with different geographical conditions are surveyed for this study using qualitative research exploration method. Ibrahim","doi":"10.21834/jabs.v4i17.78","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21834/jabs.v4i17.78","url":null,"abstract":"The Indian Ocean tsunami of 26th December 2004 unleashed catastrophe in many nations including coastal communities located along the west-coast of Malaysian Peninsular.  The goal of this study is to explore the impact of the tsunami to the preparedness of the affected coastal communities.   Data was collected through questionnaire, interviews, documents analysis and field observations.  It was found that the 2004 tsunami disaster has left a significant mark on Malaysia's and the world's disaster management landscape but the tragedy has also heightened disaster awareness and steps must be taken to ensure vulnerable communities are well-equipped to face any eventualities. \u0000Keywords:  Tsunami; sustainable coastal communities; disaster management; vulnerability. \u0000eISSN 2514-7528 © 2018. This paper identifies health issues in Malaysia, and it reviews preventive measures to make people aware of the importance of healthy living. The paper contends that green space is beneficial, which encourage people to make good choices about their health. It reviews researches that show that green space supports greater outdoor activities and influence healthy behaviors of city residents. Problems such as insufficient milk production may affect the mothers’ breastfeeding process and most mothers opt to consider on using galactagogue. We collected and analyzed questionnaire consists of demographic data and usage patterns of herbal galactagogue during lactating. To summarize, most mothers consume herbal galactagogue due to lack of milk production. This study is to access the public awareness and behavior towards MMT program whereby a self administered questionnaire was distributed to the respondents in a public hospital. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 16. The finding shows that only 23.9% of respondents are aware of this program and majority of the respondents suggested continuous improvement on MMT program. In conclusion, the low awareness level of MMT program amongst public in Malaysia is might be due to limited campaigns and information. \u00002180-4567 © 2014 The Authors. One of the strategies to overcome the crime is (CPTED) which emphasizes on decreasing delinquencies by urban design and through modelling it's principles in public open spaces. A survey on the perception of the relationship between support of social activities and fear of crime among 60 residents in Omid Residential Complex was conducted. The results found that the usage location, providing usage in the abandoned spaces and usage combination, have the highest impact on the residents' place attachment, respectively. \u0000Keywords: CPTED viewpoint; fear of crime; residential complex; social activity. \u0000eISSN 2514-7528 © 2018.
