The method and the experiment are described, and results are fully discussed. The technique provides useful and interesting tools for colour image formation process simulations. The sun is \u0000the main source of blue light, although we also receive emissions of this type of light by electronic \u0000devices and artificial lighting. Changes in lighting systems and lifestyle habits have led to the \u0000questioning of exposure to blue light emitted by artificial sources as a possible health problem. Faced \u0000with this potential problem, ophthalmic lens laboratories brought to market lenses with specific \u0000treatment against hazard blue light emitted by electronic devices. In this work we measure the spectral \u0000transmittance of 6 blue filter ophthalmic lenses from 4 different laboratories, Essilor, Hoya, Shamir \u0000and Kodak. We face the transmission spectra measured with the emission spectra of 3 different \u0000electronic devices, to be able to discuss the suitability of these blue filter lenses for use with electronic \u0000devices. We conclude that the transmittance of blue filters in the maximum blue light emission range \u0000is high above 90%, and that changing the correlated color temperature of electronic devices results in \u0000a greater reduction in exposure to hazard blue light. Soap, or hydroalcohol are two known ways of sanitizing different objects. Now we can find in the market more sophisticated systems, which provide more confidence on their sanitizing effects, or that allows disinfection of objects that cannot be sanitized with soap or hydroalcoholic solutions. In this work we analyze a commercially available sanitizing device that claims the use of UVC radiation. We will show that this device is not suitable for complete disinfection of the objects introduced on the cabin. We provide spectral characterization of the sources, as well as irradiance measurements inside the cabin.
