The boundary conditions for the endpoint of the transfer trajectory are somewhat loosened. The loosening of the boundary conditions is based on the idea that the body is transferred to a five-dimensional invariant manifold, filled with bounded trajectories in the neighborhood of the L1. The linear and quadratic approximations of the analytic representation of the mentioned invariant manifold are given. It is shown that the expenditure of energy in this case can be decreased by several percent.","PeriodicalId":194578,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Mechanics - Seventh Polyakhov's Reading","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130399821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mathematical model describing the structure is reduced to a system of ordinary differential linear equations of the second order. Solutions of the problem are obtained by using the approximate theory. The system of equation is solved analytically. The solution contains the unknown constants, which is evaluated by using Mathematika 9.0. Analytical formula for evaluation of components of normal and tangential deflections of the shell middle surface are found. The approximate results are presented by either analytical formulas or in the form of plots. The results are compared with numerical (FEM) results obtained by the program complex ANSYS 13 and agree well.","PeriodicalId":194578,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Mechanics - Seventh Polyakhov's Reading","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128449488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Elastic stress field caused by surface undulation is defined by using the constitutive equations of linear elasticity for bulk and surface phases. Based on method of superposition, a boundary perturbation technique, Goursat-Kolosov complex potentials and Muskhelishvili representations, the original boundary value problem is reduced to the successive solution of a system of singular and hypersingular integral equations for any order of approximation. This perturbation solution and thermodynamic approach allows us to derive a governing equation which gives the time-dependence of surface roughness amplitude.","PeriodicalId":194578,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Mechanics - Seventh Polyakhov's Reading","volume":"353 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124471264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The complete set of three modified Rodrigues-Hamilton parameters, also known as s-parameters, and corresponding three generalized momenta is used for rigid body attitude representation. The longitudinal, torsional and bending column vibrations are described by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations. The corrosion rates on the inner and outer surfaces are assumed to be exponentially dependent on time and linearly dependent on the equivalent stress. Two analytical solutions are compared: one of them is developed by the use of the maximum principal stress and the second uses the von Mises stress for the equivalent stress. It is shown that the model using the maximum principal stress reflects the effect of hydrostatic pressure on the lifetime of the shell.","PeriodicalId":194578,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Mechanics - Seventh Polyakhov's Reading","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121365890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A similar type of loading is implemented in the pipelines, when the displacements of some cross-sections of the pipes known from experiment are set. The unknowns of this problem are expanded in the form of series in the angular coordinate. The coefficients of the series and equivalent forces are determined numerically. As there is a significant edge effect in similar problems, the Godunov method of the orthogonal sweep is used, that provides the acceptable accuracy of the numerical solution of the linear boundary value problems.","PeriodicalId":194578,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Mechanics - Seventh Polyakhov's Reading","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116918957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
