High levels of alexithymia interfere with interpersonal relationships. Our study showed a significant negative correlation between alexithymia and happiness. People with high rates of alexithymia should be less happy than others. But experiencing happiness can reduce a person's level of alexithymia. If alexithymia manifests itself as a temporary reaction or a certain state of a person, the experience of happiness can reduce level of alexithymia. Various methods of art therapy are effective in the treatment of alexithymia. Since ancient times, Buddhism has been intimately intertwined with the avoidance of human suffering. Two thousand five hundred years ago, the supreme Buddha preached about the importance of keeping the mind happy and health care. The Buddha, preached as a doctor, talked about how stress affects our mental health and wellbeing, and that the cure for ailments related to mental health is to understand the Dhamma, and that valuable Dhamma is illustrated in the Suttas. The main objective of this research is to study about the content of Buddhism and its importance on how to get health care through happiness. The secondary objective is to study whether it is possible to achieve a healthy life through happiness with the help and the incorporation of Buddhist sermons. The research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data are collected through participant observation and interviews. Secondary data are obtained from both published and unpublished sources. As further data gathered, embracing the teachings of the Buddha into our lives brings peace of mind and it will lead us to the progressive path of being healthy. The best example of this is the supreme Buddha. Since, he has been the first to heal all the sufferings and to demonstrate to the world the worth and importance of it and how to achieve a healthy and balanced life through it. The article will firstly shed light on the impact of happiness on better student performance. In the last years research has examined the trajectory of psychological well-being (PWB) over the lifespan, in particular during different life transition period, and its relationship with psychological health. Few studies specifically focused on emerging adulthood, a life stage characterized by many developmental challenges. As conceived by Ryff’s model of PWB, it is a complex and multifaced construct with different dimensions. The aims of this paper were to explore the PWB dimensions in a specific population of Italian emerging adults and to analyse the link between the psychological well-being and internalizing emotional difficulties. Findings showed in Italian EA higher scores in specific dimensions of PWB such as personal growth and purpose in life, and lower scores in self-acceptance and environmental mastery. Moreover, results highlighted negative relationships between all PWB dimensions with internalizing difficulties. This study suggests the importance of exploring the specificities of PWB both in clinical and health contexts in order to promote more tailored interventions specifically aimed for internalizing difficulties.
