In spite of eras and areas of enlightenment, subcultures of warring people are persisting as is reflected in local and global terrorism. Emotions rather than rationality determine the aggressive behavior of the human species on this Earth. We react to the symptoms but neglect to study the causes of violence, terrorism and wars. It all boils down to a universal struggle for power and celestial glory. A systems approach is proposed to investigate global society as a system of interrelated and interacting subsystems that are governed by brainless action and reaction. Diverse cultures constitute subsystems of often opposing beliefs that lead to controversy and belliger-","PeriodicalId":188334,"journal":{"name":"Chemistry in Australia","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130163091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Potential scenarios range from total catastrophe to the provision of a better understanding of how networks of networks function - for example, how the circulatory system, the respiratory system and the musculoskeletal system might interact with one another in combatting disease. For my own part, the recent announcements on the positive medical outcomes from the 'placebo effect' suggests this is a problem looking for a solution in networks of networks analysis.","PeriodicalId":188334,"journal":{"name":"Chemistry in Australia","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125353356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
