The result showed the improvement of students’ writing recount achievement. It was found that the mean of the students’ scores in every test was improved. In the first test, the mean was 53.8 and there was 8.3% of the students who got up 70 points (Minimum Completeness Criteria), in the second test, it was 68.7 and 50% of the students who got up 70 points, and in the last one, the mean was 78.4 and there was 97.2% of the students who got up 70 points. The result of the research showed the progress of achievement scores. Based on the diary note, observation sheet, questionnaire sheet and interview sheet it shows that the students felt enthusiastic, enjoyable, and active in learning recount text through Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM). It can be concluded that Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) gives contribution to improve students’ writing recount achievement. The esearches conducted in two cycles consisted of six meetings. The instruments for collecting the date were tests, diary notes, observation sheets, and interview. Based on the date analysis, the mean of the students’ score for the orientation test was 51. 52 for test I (cycle 1) was 39. 61 and for test II (cycle 2) was 58. 76. The conclution is Problem Based Learning technique can improve the students’ achievement in writing narrative text. The objective of the study is to investigate whether the using of flash card can improve students’ vocabulary achievement. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SD Negeri 174559 Siraituruk, Porsea which consisted of 34 students. For collecting data, the instruments used were quantitative (vocabulary test) and qualitative data (interview sheet, observation sheet, and diary notes. Based on the data, it was found that the mean of the second cycle (80, 44) is higher than the mean of first cycle (64, 85) and pre-test (44, 41). Based on interview sheet, observation sheet and diary notes, it was found thee students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. It was concluded that teaching vocabulary by using flash cards can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement. This research was conducted by using action research method. The subject of this study was grade VIII students of SMP N I Bandar. The number of the students was thirty one students, consisted of ten boys twenty one girls. They were taught through anagram technique. The instrument used were vocabulary tests, diary notes, interview sheet, questionnaire sheet and observation sheet. The technique of data analysis were quantitative and qualitative. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the first vocabulary test as orientation was 38,70, for the second vocabulary test as a cycle I test was 66,29, for the third vocabulary test as cycle II test was 82,74. The total percentage of the improvement from the first reading test to the third reading test was 7,12%. The conclusion is that anagram technique can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement. The qualitative data show that the students were more interested and motivated on vocabulary achievement through anagram. It is suggested that teachers should apply anagram technique as one of methods to improve students’ achievement in vocabulary. The objective of the study is to discover whether the use of word webbing technique could significantly improving students’ vocabulary. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SMPN 4 Takengon, Aceh Tengah which consisted of 40 students. The quantitative data were collected by using observation sheet, questionnaire sheet and diary field. Based on the vocabulary test score, students’ score kept improving in every test. The mean of students’ score cycle (80) was higher than the fist cycle (67,75) and orientation test (55.25). based on observation sheet, questionnaire sheet and diary field, it was found that teaching learning process ran well. The students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. The result of the research showed that is use of word webbing technique significantly improving students’ vocabulary. This study was conducted by using action research at second year of SMP N 1 Kabanjahe. The sample of this study was just one class namely: VIII-2. The number of this class was 36 students. The research was conducted in two cycles. Cycle 1 consisted of three meetings and cycle 2 consisted of two meetings. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was writing test while the quantitative data were gathered through interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the writing test result, the students score kept improving in every test. In pre test, the mean score was 52, 61. In the test of cycle I, the mean score was 63 and the mean score in test of cycle II was 80. The conclusion is that quantum learning can improve the students’ descriptive writing achievement. Based on reading comprehension scores, students’ score kept improving in every reading comprehension test. Based on diary notes, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheet, it was found that the teaching-learning process ran well. The students were active, interested, and enthusiastic in reading. The result of the research showed that team pair solo significantly improved students’ achievement in reading comprehension. The objective of this study is to iinvestigate whether there is any significant improvement of the students’ achievement in reading comprehension when it is taught by using natural approach. The subject of the study was Grade XI students of Nasrani 3 Private Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta Nasrani 3) Medan. There were thirty one students. They were taught by using Natural Approach. The instrument for data collection were teacher made test, observation sheet and questionaire. The techniques of data analysis applied were quantitative and qualitative. In analysing the data, the students were given three reading tests namely, Orientation Test, Test Cycle I and Test Cycle II. The mean of the students’ score for the first reading test as Orientation test was 51.61 the second reading test as Cycle I test was 66.61 and the third reading test as Cycle II test was 76.61. The total percentage of the improvement from the first reading test to the third was 77.41%. the conclusion is that the procedures of natural approach can improve the students’ achievement in reading comprehension. The qualitative data shows that the students were enthusiastic and interested in reading comprehension. It is suggested that teachers should apply Natural Approach as one of the media in improving students’ achievement in reading comprehension.
