A factorial experiment was carried out by using the split plot Experiment, according to a randomized complete block design R.C.B.D with three replicates. The experiment included the two factors , the first factor was four plant distance : (55, 45, 35 and 25) cm, and the second was four different fertilizer combinations of N.P.K and organic acids: (100%, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4) kg ha-1 . The grains were sown on 03-15-2021 with different distances between plant and 75 cm between one line and another. The plant wide spacing between sunflower plants significantly affected most of the yield traits; the distance of 55 cm was superior in the highest mean disc diameter, number of filled grains, weight of 1000 gm and harvest index, while the sowing distance distance of 25 cm was significantly superior in giving the highest mean of total grain yield. The addition of different fertilizer combinations affected all vegetative growth characteristics, fertilizer level exceeded F2 (120 kg N ha-1 ,75 kg P2O5 ha-1 ,120 kg K2O ha-1 +30 kg ha-1 humic and fulvic) on disc diameter, number of filled grains, weight of 1000 grains, harvest index and total grain yield. Average values for the quality characteristics of fresh honey ranged between (8-21) units of diastase number, 107.5-284.3 U/kg invertase activity and 7.6-40.3 mg/kg HMF. The honey samples were subjected to heating at 50, 65, 75 Cº for 30 minutes. Then the honey samples were left at room temperature 25-30 °C and stored for 6 months for evaluation. Changes in diastase number, invertase activity and HMF content were observed in 3 and 6 month of storage. The values of these indicators decreased from the basic values and ranged between (1.1-3.6 units), (26.8- 70.8 U/kg) and (21.3-112.8 mg/kg) respectively after being subjected to heating at a temperature of 75°C for 30 minutes after being stored for 6 months.","PeriodicalId":18776,"journal":{"name":"Muthanna Journal for Agricultural Sciences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79524963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the province of Babylon, the results of the study of the dual production function showed that greenhouse farms achieved increasing capacity returns through the value of the capacity return of 1.226, while the binary production function obtained from the normalized profit function after the introduction of the project size gave higher capacity returns depending on the capacity return value of 1.414 and this This is due to the fact that the small farms achieved an optimum combination of the resources used and thus reflected in achieving the economic efficiency of those farms. Cucumber production in the homes is less relative in the use of economic resources compared to small farms, a study has shown. The study recommends the need to redistribute production resources, to benefit from them in achieving the economic efficiency of those resources. This will be reflected in increasing the efficiency of vegetable production in greenhouses on the one hand, and reducing production costs on the other hand.Keywords: polixal 20-8, seaweed extract (Algaren), soil salinity, yield of eggplant Solanum melongena L.","PeriodicalId":18776,"journal":{"name":"Muthanna Journal for Agricultural Sciences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79384641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
