The author's definition of the category 'public service' is given. It was found that effective servicing of the needs of civil society and economic entities is impossible without the involvement of information systems and technologies and requires the implementation of systematic information support for the management and service activities of local self-government bodies. An innovative information and communication system has been formed to ensure the activities of local self-government bodies in the provision of public services. The working subsystems of the developed system have been investigated and ways of their improvement and innovation in the prospects of their development have been proposed.","PeriodicalId":187564,"journal":{"name":"Electronic Government, An International Journal","volume":"72 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136258044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These are three aspects that facilitate understanding the reasons forimproving their educational quality, in the conditions of the contemporary world. This meansexplaining the fundamentals of Geographical Education, the affection for the transmission ofnineteenth-century content and the incentive for critical thinking. Methodologically, adocumentary review was carried out to propose the analysis on the situation of contemporary Geographical Education, the characteristic problems of traditional school geography and the needto promote critical thinking as an option to overcome the affect on memorization. It concludes byunderlining the need to overcome the contradictions derived from this pedagogical relationship,as an impediment that hinders understanding the globalized environmental, geographical andsocial complexity and its effects on the quality of life of the world community.","PeriodicalId":187564,"journal":{"name":"Electronic Government, An International Journal","volume":"91 8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128774250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
