For that reason, direct sellers have objectives that transcend the sales activities themselves, such as establishing sustainable interpersonal relationships with their clients in the medium and long term and being able to run their own business. In this work, we study personality traits and personal profiles of sellers who operate under this modality through the DISC test, studying the twelve main combinations. These results are subjected to statistical analysis and then incorporated into a business intelligence platform which contains traditional data such as sales, billing, personal data and seniority. The results, in the first place, validate those desirable traits for a traditional seller, referenced in the bibliography, such as kindness and persuasiveness. Nevertheless, this research highlight other personality traits that contribute to the success of the direct sellers and that are especially desirable for this business, for example, long-term reliability, self-motivation, proactivity and the ability to make decisions under pressure. The incorporation of this type of data supposes an added value for the management of direct selling businesses. Besides, the integration with business intelligence platform contributes to the efficiency of the information management.","PeriodicalId":186072,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127416542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, fully automatizing the process can bring adversaries to generate faster effective threats. Recent studies suggest that injecting successful malware modifications could lead to corrupt executable files despite of detection. Therefore, we propose ARMED - Automatic Random Malware Modifications to Evade Detection - to bypass classifiers by automatizing valid malware generation based on detected threats. The goal is to understand how successful automatic perturbations can be used to avoid detection. In order to reach this goal, we take portable executable malware and add a number of small random injections to evade detection without affecting the malware structure. Our experiments proved that only six perturbations are required to create new functional malware samples exhibiting exactly the same behavior yet with up to 80% less detections based on original malware that was previously detected. We show that within a few minutes an adversary could take a previously detected malware and convert it in a clean new mutation bypassing static malware scanners.","PeriodicalId":186072,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130942624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our differential game models, market demand is influenced by the goodwill and the difference between reference price and actual price. Advertising activities play a significant role in enhancing goodwill which further increases in reference price. The results indicate that it is a kind of Pareto improvement for the manufacturer., the retailer and the whole supply chain from Nash non-cooperative game to Stackelberg game and finally to cooperative game. Factories are one of such sectors, which could adopt cloud computing technology because of its beneficial features to improve the overall cost and services quality. However, the review of the existing literature shows that there is a limited research effort that illustrates the main steps for the adoption of cloud computing in Jordanian factories. This paper aims to suggest a theoretical solution to replace physical machines into virtual machines using cloud computing technology in Jordanian factories. The study, accordingly, suggests a conceptual framework for such adoption. The new framework was developed and tested in three Jordanian factories. An interpretive paradigm using triangulation methods was applied to collect qualitative data, conducting nine semi-structured interviews, two focus groups, and reviewing annual documents and reports. In addition, the study identifies the main key factors that could influence the decision of cloud technology adoption as well as transferring from traditional technology to virtual machines. Such factors include the availability of proposed solutions for virtualization, costs, current physical resources, professional team availability, and the migration process.","PeriodicalId":186072,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130392413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
