During the period of self-isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the problem of data protection of education participants has significantly worsened. For the purposes of this study, we have reviewed the literature of recent years, reflecting the results of various studies, including national ones, focused primarily on identifying the conditions for the implementation of \"digital citizenship\" and the reasons for the decline in the quality of education, combined with the problems of protection of students' personal data. \"Digital citizenship\" is a set of competencies of a citizen and the actions of the state in ensuring equal access to digital information and the protection of citizens in digital communication. The implementation of distance learning in the period of COVID-19 revealed the problems of inequality of students in terms of access to information, as well as the lack of digital competencies in learning and ensuring its security, the weak readiness of \"digital citizens\" to effective use of their digital citizenship.","PeriodicalId":185931,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Computer and Information Security","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133259901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The corresponding sets of techniques are called voice cloning that could be relatively easy recognized by listeners as a machine speech. But in the past two years the new developments in the area of AI and deep generative networks have significantly improved the quality of speech synthesis and brought to life the technology of deep fake audio that appear rather authentic. Cyberattacks using convincing sounding models successfully emulating people’s voices have escalated in number, frequency, and impact, drawing increased attention to the vulnerabilities of cyber systems and the need to increase their security. False audio content generated with neural networks has become difficult to be detected that causes a widespread distrust of audio (voice) evidence and brings a serious societal harm. In the face of this threat, there is a significant concern and interest among forensic speech researchers and the juristic public about the malicious implications of AI and risks of fake audio attacks for cybersecurity. This article describes some legal and forensic aspect of exposing fake voice audios generated with neural networks.","PeriodicalId":185931,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Computer and Information Security","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125530074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many experts note the importance of cyber defense exercises as a significant tool for the continuous development of information security competencies. It is revealed that actually there is no system approach to the use of cyber defense exercises in the educational process of universities. In this regard, the purpose of this article is to solve the problem of system integration of cyber defense exercises in the process of training a future information security specialist. This research paper uses the general scientific dialectical method, theoretical and methodological analysis and generalization of technical, scientific and educational-methodical literature, scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of cybersecurity and cyber defense exercises. It allows to develop a model for integrating cyber defense exercises into the process of training an information security specialist, which reflects how various forms of cyber defense exercises are used at different stages of training (sociotechnical testing, red-teaming, etc.). It is described the mechanism of integration at the level of individual disciplines, a set of disciplines, within the framework of industrial practices and within the framework of the final state certification. In addition, the participation of students in the corresponding scenarios of cyber defense exercises is considered. Integration of the developed model makes possible to improve the quality of training of students, to develop competencies required by a highly qualified information security specialist.","PeriodicalId":185931,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Computer and Information Security","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128315616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
