Thus, it is obvious that video compression technologies play a key role in the distribution of video content in broadcasting. In this paper, a comparative analysis and QoE assessment over the most recent video codecs in terms of video transmission over 5G networks are presented. The video compression comparison takes into account performance metrics considering the bitrate savings versus the image quality, in order to provide evidence about their adaptation under real-time streaming conditions. The video test sequences used in our experiments were retrieved from miscellaneous sources and their common characteristic is that they have High, Full or Ultra High Definition resolution. Video codecs’ performance was tested by using commercial coding libraries and reference software of the coding standards.","PeriodicalId":183074,"journal":{"name":"2020 3rd World Symposium on Communication Engineering (WSCE)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114317240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fading distributions means and variances are known. Rayleigh and Rician fading along with Central Limit Theorem are used in entropy calculations. Compressive Sensing reduced number of samples for distributions reconstruction are also derived. Finally, the inverse problem of identifying the corresponding distributions from the derived channel code lengths and Compressive Sensing based number of samples is addressed with promising results for distribution channel knowledge and estimation.","PeriodicalId":183074,"journal":{"name":"2020 3rd World Symposium on Communication Engineering (WSCE)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133355146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over the years, the dependence of people on electrical devices has sharply increased. The need for continuous use of these devices has created greater demand for electricity as well as more efficient transmission techniques. Environmental energy scavenging, as well as wireless transmission, is an increasing research field during the last years. The use of Radio Frequency (RF) Energy Harvesting (EH) technique contributes to the development of autonomous energy devices and sensors, to reduce the need of supplying them with power by using batteries or the mains. In this paper, the state-of-the-art technologies of radio frequency energy harvesting are discussed and analyzed.","PeriodicalId":183074,"journal":{"name":"2020 3rd World Symposium on Communication Engineering (WSCE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117121066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The user can enter the code to corrected and can use the key to start the engine. The users can enter the number code (XXXX) to turn on the system, which can be incorrectly entered 3 times if the user enters the wrong code again. After that, the system will sound a siren with a loudness of 120 dB to protect safety. The microcontroller operates via the GSM telephone system, which is sent Short Message Service (SMS) to alert the latitude and longitude of the car’s position via the GPS module to the smartphone. The vehicle owner can follow up on the vehicle on a Google map. This system can be called by using the global system for mobile (GSM) communications system and the car’s electric power system to turn on or turn off the system to stop the engine of the vehicle. The useful software that offers the possibility to implement and evaluate Cloud environments is CloudSim, which we also use in order to demonstrate and propose our idea. Moreover, we consider the CloudSim’s simulator architecture in order to achieve our proposal. Consequently, we investigate and propose a system framework for better use of Big Data management, based on Cloud federated network. Additionally, we propose an algorithm for achieving an energy-efficient resource allocation technique for Big Data management on Green Cloud environment. Content distribution in ICN adopts a pull-type communication method that returns data to Interest. However, in this case, the push-type communication method is advantageous. Therefore, the authors have proposed a method in which a server pushes content to reduce the node load in an environment where a large amount of Interest to specific content occurs in a short time. In this paper, we analyze the packet processing delay time with and without the proposed method in an environment where a router processes a large number of packets using a simulator. Simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce packet processing delay time and node load.","PeriodicalId":183074,"journal":{"name":"2020 3rd World Symposium on Communication Engineering (WSCE)","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129215053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
