Many SRL environments face challenges and barriers, including less immediate feedback and guidance, a high level of self-personalization, environment, and resources from teachers or learner designers. Hence, in this paper, the artificial intelligence framework for self-regulated learning (AIF-SRL) overcame the SRL environment's challenges in higher education. Self-regulated students are active participants in their learning and may select from a strategic portfolio and monitor their progress towards the objective. The proposed artificial intelligence-based solution has been used to monitor student behavior through students' feedback and responses. The experimental results show that the proposed AIF-SRL method improves the student's self-evaluation, self-regulation behavior, self-efficacy, learning gain, and self-satisfaction compared to other existing methods.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. Business models that wish to rely on smart product adoption will need to ensure the capability to deliver systems that offer adequate data integrity of sensors with the guarantee of privacy for users. Incorporating smart devices into the mainstream internet poses many security problems, as most internet technologies and protocols have not been developed to support IoT. Strategic support units such as human resources need sufficient technical knowledge about the state of the art to navigate and leverage Industry 4.0 into their practices. Human resources professionals are increasingly asked to take strategic and not operational roles. Using a systematic review method, the authors expose the security and privacy challenges posed by IoTs and conclude with a framework that maps potential solutions to the identified problems. The framework adds to the strategic HR literature and practically helps improve the technical acumen of human resource professionals.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Technol. Hum. The majority of the citizens of this country are dependent upon the agricultural supply chain for the livelihood. This study shows the role of the workforce in this digital era for the e-marketing of agriculture products. E-marketing platforms (i.e., search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, and e-mail marketing) help digital marketers to track and analyze the dynamic and complex buying behavior of consumers. Structural equation modelling is used to test the framework for the e-marketing of agriculture products. The developed model can enhance the capability of workforce in this digital era for developing an effective e-marketing strategy for agriculture products.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. The research employed purposive sampling method for data collection. The questionnaire is distributed in booklet format to participants who had experienced in using online cloud storage service platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, etc.). The data are collected from participates dwelling at Chennai metropolitan in South India. The data is analysed by using structural equation modelling technique through Smart PLS 2 software. The performance expectancy, social influence, trust, and perceived speed of access are found to be the strong significant determinants affecting and changing the behavioural intention of individual (customers) towards using cloud storage service technology in managing own firm SCM networks and operations.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. This study explores the state of Bangladeshi family businesses in adapting to I4.0 using a qualitative research methodology. Top management personnel were interviewed to capture their insights on transitioning to I4.0. The thematic analysis revealed four themes, current state of the businesses, challenges faced, pandemic impact on human resources, and future plans. Findings indicate high awareness and greater adoption of digital practices with COVID-19 acting as a catalyst. Although training is emphasized, there is a lack of focus on both career and general counselling, which may prove to be detrimental in the future. The study takes a resource-based view to find the bundle of resources acting as conditions for the family firms to evolve into the I4.0, thereby making a practical contribution to understanding the role of family businesses in implementing I4.0 policies to enrich their human resource competencies and leverage the benefits of I4.0.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. In addition, far too little attention has been paid to understand the effect of website design on e-trust across gender. In this study, therefore, three elements of website design (visual design, information design, and navigation design) are examined for their effect on consumer trust in e-commerce. Using data collected from 532 online shoppers , the overall model was first tested using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The research model was then tested for each gender group separately. The results of the study indicated that website design is an important factor in establishing trust in e-commerce. Our results further revealed that website information design is more important to males than females in forming e-trust, while website navigation design is more important to females than males in forming e-trust. However, website visual design was found to be a key driver of e-trust for both males and females.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Technol. Hum. This paper explores the factors impacting the intentions and actual use of COVID-19 contact tracing apps based on a technology acceptance model. A partial least squares structural equation model has been applied to understand determinants for the usage of tracing apps based on a large sample (N = 2,398) from more than 30 countries (mainly from Germany and USA). Further, the paper presents a classification of COVID-19 apps and users. Through that, the study provides insights for technologists and designers of tracing apps as well as policy makers and practitioners to work toward enhancing user acceptance. Moreover, the results are abstracted to general social participation with apps in order to manage future strategies. The theoretical contribution of this work includes the results of our acceptance model and a classification of COVID-19 tracing and tracking apps.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Through the theoretical lens of the resource-based perspective, the current research examined the perceived impacts of four different corporate resources (Financial, Human, Organizational, and Technological capital resources) on disruptive innovation that subsequently leads to increasing competitive advantage. A mixed-method design was utilized. The first study followed a quantitative approach (surveys; n= 154), whereas the second study followed a qualitative design (interviews; n= 16). Both studies targeted two different FinTech summits in the Middle East. This research delivered a new perspective and understanding concerning how Middle Eastern FinTechs perceive capital resources as causes of disruptive innovation for increasing competitive advantage.","PeriodicalId":182643,"journal":{"name":"Int. However, it appears that technologies are still weakly used in education and training. This article intends to analyse i) how students' technological skills development can be promoted, ii) in what way the integration of digital technologies in the curriculum is managed, and iii) what influence teaching, assessment and learning methods have, in the development of generic skills, especially technological skills. Presents a case study in the master's degree in Economics and Accounting Teaching, that forms teachers to vocational secondary education in this area. Individual dexterity is the ability of individuals to explore fingers and other senses when in contact with information technology devices (finger dexterity) and exploit the idea or ideas to complete the work independently (manual dexterity). A number of 150 respondents who work in creative industries and using information technology-based communication tools to finish their daily job involved in this research. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS. The results show that individual dexterity is able to predict the performance of individuals who work in a digital environment.
