The rate of cheat/fraudulent has been increased rapidly now-a-days, which causes significant monetary losses for many organizations, businesses, and branches of government. The number of these fraudulent are highly expected to increase in the future in a low time, which is why many investigators in the field have focused on early detection of fraudulent actions using inimical methods. Even so Due to two factors, identifying fraudsters is a difficult process. 1. different natural fraudulent actions for each minority sample overtake (fraud cases). When an oracle model receives input from a particularly unstable class distribution, the model favors mature observations. The data-level methodology, in which different re - sampling methods like down sampling, overfitting, and aggregation techniques are managed by an algorithmic approach, in which the same aggregation models as bagging and boosting are applied to a broad-slope dataset containing 28,807 transactions, is used to resolve this issue. Exactly 92 of these bids were found to be malicious. For predicting if a transaction is malicious or real, Oracle techniques such as logistic model, RF, and Light GBM have been integrated with various Machine Learning approaches. The recovery, accuracy, f1 score, precision recovery arc, and receiver basic characteristic curve were used to evaluate the precision. The findings suggest that the RF paired with the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technology composite interpolation approach and Tomek association elimination outperforms other methods.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132274692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the Economic Times, India's Apple imports more than doubled in 2021. Apples can only be grown in select parts of India, such as Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand’ s hills, and Uttar Pradesh's plains. Botryosphaeria obtuse is the fungus that causes Apple black rot. On leaves, infections start as reddish-brown specks that grow into circular brown lesions (4–8 mm in diameter). The segmentation of the Apple black rot disease would benefit greatly from the lesion isolation or masking technique developed thus far in this project. After the ROI has been extracted, further processing can be done in the form of disease categorization, disease stage, correlation between the behaviour of different diseases, and so on. This will aid in the selection of better chemicals, insecticides, fertilisers, and agricultural techniques in general, reducing illness, increasing output, and increasing profit.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114940631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This large volume of sentiment-rich data needs to be examined properly in order to comprehend the mood, attitude, or sentiment underlying those words. Computers can process, interpret, and analyze vast volumes of natural data using natural language processing (NLP), which helps them to comprehend human languages. Now all organizations are looking for more fine-grained sentiment analysis to plan their business strategy. This paper investigates state-of-the-art textual data analysis using NLP techniques. The increased use of Indian languages in communicating platforms is a challenging task for opinion mining. In this paper, we survey the state-of-the-art methods based on deep learning and fuzzy rules for sentiment analysis.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124420832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Goel, Vikas Jain","doi":"10.1109/ICICT55121.2022.10064562","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICICT55121.2022.10064562","url":null,"abstract":"Communication is very important between People to people. People who are “Specially Abled,” with speech or hearing impairments, “Mute” or “Deaf” individuals, respectively, constantly rely on visual communication. Due to a lack of knowledge in sign language, people without visual or hearing impairments occasionally encounter problems and cannot interact with those seeking their help. They accept sign language well and make use of it to communicate. Building a system that can translate gestures into text and voice is necessary to enable two-way communication between persons with disabilities and the broader population. Translating these sign languages into text and voice can be highly beneficial since it will link the deaf/mute and the rest of society by enabling communication between the two groups. This research paper proposes a method for recording hand movements (sign language). It makes use of the Mediapipe platform, which successfully recognizes the hand and extracts the relevant information to feed into the model. After the model recognizes the sign language, words and alphabets are merged to form a sentence, which is then converted to speech. With LSTM, the suggested framework has demonstrated effective accuracy. According to a survey, CNN and LSTM produce results that are superior in quality and accuracy.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125348538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These numerous IoT devices collect enormous amounts of data, which are then transferred to the cloud for further processing and analysis. Most of these tasks are delay-sensitive and require processing within their deadline. These tasks require high-speed computing and storage resources for their processing. Although the cloud layer provides enormous processing and storage capability, we can not ignore the amount of delay in response generation. Thus, other two lower layers, i.e., the Edge layer and the fog layer, should also be considered to develop an efficient algorithm for task scheduling and load balancing. These three layers vary in terms of resource availability and communication latency. Currently, the increased focus of many new researchers on improving the performance metrics in the cloud architecture, such as energy efficiency, resource utilization, and latency, leads to the requirement of a detailed review of previous work done in this area. Although many review articles are on the web, most focus only on a single layer. Thus, The current study considers all three layers, edge, fog, and cloud, to present a detailed systematic review of algorithms based on load balancing and scheduling at task and VM levels. This study aims to compare and analyze the available papers based on the focused layers, the methodology used, performance matrices, advantages, and future scopes.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115788179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A pet finding device is very beneficial for tracking a pet's movement from any place at any time. The system was motivated by the need to monitor pets, since 15 percent of pet owners lose their pets within five years and one-third of pets go missing in their lifetimes, according to a study on lost pets. The IoT has attracted a great attention in terms of industry and research applications in recent years, despite the fact that it is relatively affordable and simple to produce. Numerous devices that around us are linked to cloud computing under the IoT paradigm. There are several uses for IoT, including agriculture, smart cities, and healthcare. The developed gadget employs Global Positioning System (GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), and Long-Range (LoRa) radio technology, which is one of the most used tracking methods. The gadget is integrated into a pet's collar, and its whereabouts will be calculated and monitored in real time. Controlling the GPS receiver, GSM module, and LoRa module is an Arduino UNO. The tracking system receives location data at frequent intervals from a GPS system. The GSM transceiver keeps track of the pet's whereabouts and sends information. This GSM sends SMS updates on the position of a pet every twenty seconds using a GSM modem if it is missing. The GPS coordinates are obtained by Arduino UNO and then sent to the user via SMS. This information is transmitted to the pet's owner through SMS using a GSM modem. The location can be seen on an LCD panel. On the mobile device, Google map displays the pet's location.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"296 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114055998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This was one of the degraded handwritten scripts due to many reasons. The main obstacles of binarizing these ancient handwritten texts are its variable background intensity, ink bleed, uneven illumination, blurred character and contrast issues, smear or smudge and shadows etc. Therefor an effective pre-processing method is required to binarize these degraded documents. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach for binarization and enhancement of Vattezhuthu script. In the proposed technique pixel expansion is conducted on thin handwritten vattezhuthu script using super resolution. After that image enhancement is done using median filter. Noise is filtered out by finding out the contour of enhanced image by using contour approximation and area filter. Then the morphological operation, boundaries, is used on this result.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128835072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It uses the data comprising fifty stocks listed on the National Stock Exchange over a period from Jan'2015 to Dec'2020 to determine the capital market efficiency and its trends using three techniques: correlation test, residuals test, and runs test. The proposed recommendation engine can generate the implications of contemporary events on the stock prices which can further bring the pricing errors to the surface faster. It can also assist in enhancing the capital market's efficiency which leads to a reduction of arbitrage opportunities and faster removal of pricing anomalies in the market.","PeriodicalId":181396,"journal":{"name":"2022 3rd International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122726060","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
