Staff assignments were made and service started with the circular signed by Ministry of Health dated March 17, 2020. Gradual transition was planned by monitoring the rate of increase in the incidence of cases seen in our city. In accordance with the instructions of the Presidency, the Ministry of Health Scientific Committee and the Higher Education Institution (YOK), pandemic tent, pandemic service, pandemic intensive care units were opened and research assistants and lecturers were assigned to these units with decision taken by full harmonic work of the Hospital Administrative Board. Physicians from all branches were appointed with rotation in the pandemic outpatient clinic. The global epidemic caused by Covid-19 (corona virus) brought about serious changes in both education and exam applications in the last period of 2019-2020 academic year. The departments that require applied training, especially the Faculty of Medicine, were more affected from this process. All infrastructure facilities of our university were integrated into the system in a very short time in order to conduct online exams and the exams were successfully applied. Özdemir","doi":"10.18521/ktd.735274","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18521/ktd.735274","url":null,"abstract":"Amac: Bu calismada akut karbon monoksit (CO) zehirlenmesi tanisi konulan hastalarin demografik ve klinik ozellikleri ile Glasgow Koma Skoru (GKS) 15’in altinda olan hastalarin manyetik rezonans goruntuleme (MRG)’de tespit edilen serebral lezyonlari tanimlamayi amacladik. Yontem: 327 hasta yas, cinsiyet, CO zehirlenme nedenleri, klinik belirtileri, norolojik bulgulari, GKS’lari, karboksihemoglobin (COHb), serum pH, laktat, kreatin kinaz (CK), kreatini kinaz, miyokardiyal band (CK-MB), troponin-I duzeyleri ile beyin MRG bulgulari ve mortalite durumlari acisindan retrospektif olarak degerlendirildi. Bulgular: Calismamizda hastalarin yas ortancasi 31.5 yil (IQR=19.5 yil) olup, hastalarin %72.2’si kadindi. Hastalarin 34 (%10.4)’unde norolojik bulgular saptandi Norolojik bulgusu olan hastalarin dispne sikligi anlamli olarak yuksekti (p 0,05). Norolojik bulgusu olan hastalarin, takip suresi anlamli olarak uzun oldugu, daha siklikla hiperbarik oksijen tedavisi aldigi saptandi (p<0,05). Calismamizda olgularin yatis orani % 10.7, mortalite orani % 0,9 olarak saptandi. Norolojik bulgusu olan hastalarda yatis ve mortalite oranlari anlamli olarak yuksek saptandi (p<0,05). MRG cekilen 32 olgunun 13’unde (%40.6) patolojik bulgulara rastlandi. Chest diseases department; It was one of the main branches in the differential diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of COVID-19 cases. In this process, our assistants, who were our hands and arms, were our fighters who were at the forefront of the pandemic process. During the pandemic process, we worked every day with an order consisting of a faculty member and two assistants. We continued our scientific meetingand assistant trainings online so that our training activities are not interrupted. On the one hand, we continued our scientific activities by participating in the studies, planning new research, and writing projects.
