Specifically, the standard defines file format and real-time transport protocol (RTP) payload format for IEEE 1857 video and IEEE 1857.2 audio. The storage of video and audio not only uses the existing capabilities of the ISO base media file format (BMFF), but also specifies extensions to support specific features of the IEEE 1857 video codec and IEEE 1857.2 audio codec. The idea we explore is to learn beforehand about the users' interests, in order to cluster them in groups that display different behaviors; then, the video chunk scheduling algorithm of the p2p overlay is altered, with the aim of serving frequent spectators in a privileged manner, providing them with a faster access to the selected channel. An analytical model is developed, to capture the difference in startup delay that the proposed changes introduce; several additional performance metrics are numerically determined, in order to thoroughly size up the performance of different groups of viewers. PESQ (Perceptual evaluation of speech quality) is a well known objective speech quality assessment method for speech QoE evaluation. It is formed as the ITU-T P.862 Recommendations. NPESQ (New Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality) model is a new objective QoE model on evaluating the speech quality of multimedia communication system. It is an improved model of PESQ. POLQA (Perceptual objective listening quality assessment) is a successor of PESQ; it is approved as ITU-T P.863 Recommendations. In order to get which model is best, this paper undertakes performance comparative analysis of NPESQ, PESQ and POLQA models. Accuracy, consistency and linearity are chosen as performance metric. Firstly, according to the requirements of maintaining sound physical properties strictly, the distribution coefficients of four loudspeakers are calculated by the coordinates of four loudspeakers and a virtual sound source. If the distribution coefficients is not all positive, we maintain the direction of particle velocity and sound pressure to get a series of feasible solutions. Then optimal distribution coefficients of four loudspeakers are chosen through minimizing the error of particle velocity from these feasible solutions. Objective experiment demonstrates that this method can make mean error of sound pressure at most about 19.3% lower than Ando's method around spherical center in equatorial plane. Although effective algorithms for human detection in images captured by conventional cameras have been developed, human detection in fish-eye images remains an open challenge. Recognizing that humans typically appear on radial lines emitted from the center in fish-eye images, we propose to apply the popular human detection algorithm based on the Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) features after rotating each search window on a radial line to the vertical reference line. We extract positive and negative examples by such rotations to train the SVM classifier using HOG features. To detect humans in a given image, we rotate the image successively and detect windows containing humans along the reference line after each rotation using the trained classifier. We use multiple window sizes to detect people with different appearance sizes. We further develop an algorithm to discover multiple overlapping windows covering the same person and identify the window that encloses the person the best. This paper proposes a DCS scheme for image signal compression and reconstruction. The key idea is to exploit the inter-correlation of the blocks that split from the image. Significantly, joint sparse model was employed to compress the intra- and inter-redundancy of the image signal. Moreover, our scheme allocates more sensing resources to common component while fewer measurements for innovation component. In order to improve the performance, we also utilize variable sizes method to replace the uniform size approach for image split. We analyze the impacts of four metrics on User Engagement: the video startup time, buffering ratio, average bitrate and content popularity. Our results demonstrate that video buffering is a critical parameter which impacts end-user satisfaction. We show also that content popularity is an important parameter of our analysis, whereas the video startup time is less significant. We highlight the relationship between the average bitrate and User Engagement in the case of popular content. First of all, we extracted the skeleton line of human body based on the detected human body silhouette. Using the space information of pixels on the skeleton line and the silhouette, we determined a human body center point on the skeleton line. Then we proposed the MAD measure which calculated the 3D distance between each pixel of human silhouette to the body center point. The MAD measured the spatial distances from different body parts to the body center, and is capable of distinguishing the limbs and body part on a human body. By doing so, there are two advantages. The proposed MAD measure is capable of detecting human body parts without using any training sample. Moreover, it can work well even under poor illumination. We evaluated the proposed MAD measure for hand detection on the DHG hand gesture database. Haptogram system is made up of a two-dimensional array of ultrasonic transducers to project discrete points of tactile feedback moved in three orthogonal directions to create a 3D tactile experience. A mathematical model describing the Haptogram system is presented. A simulation experiment is conducted by constructing a 3D tactile hemisphere to showcase the proposed system.
