The paper demonstrates a usable method for separating individual components from the composite signal Carrier in Carrier without knowledge of the transmitted information by a satellite link in the uplink and downlink direction. This task is typical during satellite link monitoring and subsequent analytical analysis of the internal structure of the signal and the transmitted information. The proposed solution consists in the using of blind equalization methods and adaptive equalization and it is conditioned by the different energy levels of the individual signal components in the composite Carrier in Carrier signal. The transmitted information by a stronger component is estimated using the Constant Modulus Algorithm method, and this estimation is used to setup the Finite Impulse Response filter by Least Mean Squares method.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117171958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ability of object detection depends on the radiometric contrast of measured object and parameters of the radiometric sensor system. For experimental measurements, a direct detection radiometric module in W-band and a horn antenna was used. The paper deals with a measurement of radiometric image of objects in near field of radiometer antenna. As a measured object, the bakelite plate with a square shaped aluminum foil located in the mid-point was chosen. It provides us the object with high radiometric contrast suitable for testing of radiometric sensor system. In the paper, there is also description of basic low-frequency circuitry design of radiometer, which has ultralow noise and high gain performance, too. The main part of the paper describes outcomes of measurements which were realized in order to verify parameters of designed radiometer low-frequency circuitry. Radiometric image was scanned by inverse synthetic aperture technique, that means that a radiometer antenna was static and a sensed object was moving in $boldsymbol{x}$ and $boldsymbol{y}$ axis in front of the antenna.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121492762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many parameters of wind turbines and target has influence Doppler shift in the Primary Radar System as the length of blades, the frequency of rotation, the position, the angle of rotation etc. The paper focuses on changing some parameters of the target, the wind farm, and the Primary Radar System. The first part of paper deals with the designed model of reflected signals from wind turbines and target. The second part of paper deals with analysis progression of Doppler shift of reflected signals for several rotations of the Primary Radar System. We can predict development of Doppler shift for the specific frequency of rotation of the wind turbine and frequency of rotation of the Primary Radar System. The designed generator is essential for the development of new filtering method for the suppression of influence of wind turbines. The main reason for designing the generator is generating data for different scenarios.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124378246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objectives of the application are wireless data collection and analysis of electrocardiogram. The analysis is aimed for detection of Q, R and S parameters. Measurement and evaluation of parameters can allow detection of regularity and rhythm of heartbeats. Early warning can help to decide for preventive actions to avoid a lot of heart diseases. The application stores recorded data in the form of the format of arrythmia database to be compatible with the professional medical software for further analysis of electrocardiogram records. Also, we proposed a simplified version of Pan and Tompkins algorithm. We reduced a delay in signal analysis at the cost of reducing the accuracy of the original algorithm. This solution will be devoted to the purposes of research and home health care instead of clinical diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125491893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Quantitative measures that were accepted by the international research community used in the performance analysis - the correlation coefficient of ranks and the linear correlation coefficient between subjective and objective quality scores. The performance analysis is carried out globally - the level of complete datasets and on subsets of sequences with common characteristics (compression type or source sequence). Three types of compressed video content were analyzed - H.265 and its predecessors H.264 and MPEG-2. The correlation between subjective and objective quality scores is analyzed in different scales (resolutions) of the video signal. From the analysis of the results, very important conclusions on the objective quality assessment of the compressed video signals were derived, as well as the directions for further work.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"7 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130930143","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Identification process is based on signal analysis. Especially, the signal modulation as level of encryption is important. A new method based on two-stage automatic electronic intelligence objects identification is described in this paper. In the first stage, an automatic classification is designed to automatically sort signals of these objects into one of the four kinds of modulation. The second stage is designed to realize electronic intelligence object recognition. The signal preprocessing and classification using neural network as the main part of the first stage is analyzed and described. Two algorithms of the preprocessing, A and B, are designed and compared in this paper. Simulation results of these algorithms are analyzed. While the algorithm A does not meet all the conditions, the algorithm B is suitable for classification of electronic intelligence object signals with the probability of correct classification higher than 0.95 when the signal–to–noise ratio is above −2dB.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128869218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This problem is a decreasing of the attenuation at high frequencies. This denoted decreasing of the attenuation is typical for the filters of the even orders only. Therefore, this ineligible frequency response is typical for the filters assembled exclusively from biquads. The reasons for this effect are explained in this paper and then verified by simulations. The Sallen-Key filter with fully differential i/o amplifier is a structure that eliminates decreasing of the attenuation at high frequencies. Firstly, this circuit solution is used as a reference circuit. Secondary, a structure that does not have this property is designed based on the signal flow graph. The resulted frequency response of this proposed structure is verified by computer simulation. These simulations were performed by MicroCap version 11.","PeriodicalId":177579,"journal":{"name":"2018 New Trends in Signal Processing (NTSP)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116570365","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
