The factors influencing the metrological characteristics of three-component vector-measuring transducers with accelerometers are reviewed. The methods to reduce the errors defined by the constants characterizing the particular 3D positioning of measuring transducers in the device body are defined. The method to refine the constants' numerical values determined at the calibration stage due to their parametric optimization in accordance with the scientifically proven criteria is proposed.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115554110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The second direction is a more complex task from the point of view of the requirements specified to the converters of the primary information (air pressure probes and pressure sensors), computing devices. The estimation of the required accuracy of absolute pressure sensors is performed. In addition, possible ways to improve the measurement accuracy of the aerodynamic angles are discussed, in particular, the algorithms for processing of the measured pressures field and the assessment of the aerodynamic angles values.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134406245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It solves the problem of the influence of one or more straight line intersecting in one point of flaws on eddy currents and electromotive force (EF) induced in a coil with current. The coil is located above the nonmagnetic infinite plate orthogonally to the lines of flaws. Under these conditions, when the plate is geometrically thin and can be replaced by a conducting surface, the problem is solved analytically. The calculation data illustrated by the graphs of the dependence of the EF on the proximity of the flaws when the frequency of the current and the height of the coil are varied show that the contribution of the flaws to the magnetic reaction is practically attenuated at a distance exceeding the sum of the linear dimension of the coil and its height.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"452 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124295953","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown that a scanner includes two main channels: channel of photoelectric conversion and channel of measurement of objects spatial co-ordinates. Despite the fact that both channels include virtually the same elements, channel parameters testing should be separated. For this purpose, a special structure of a two-dimensional reference signal is proposed where the fields intended for different scanner parameters testing are spatially separated. Information losses during transformation of the document into a digital form are linked with the scanner characteristics. The reference signal parts forming and working out of the methods for measuring information processing to test the grayscale transmitting ability, resolution and aberrations level are considered.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124557073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It substantiates the development and commercialization of a stationary telemetry system for continuous control of the torque of the shaft assemblies at the 5,000 mm mill stand at Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, OJSC. The authors determine the main system functions and list requirements to the equipment. They offer hardware for the measuring, transmission and visualization of signals proportional to the torque applied by springs. The peculiarities of the resistance strain gage arrangement and connection are under consideration. The paper describes the equipment designed for wireless power supply to a signal encoder and digital data transfer between a transmitter and receiver. The results of the system commissioning at the 5,000 mm mill are provided as well. The paper presents an example involving the installation of a telemetering ring and gage head for inductive supply and data capture. It shows a system interface view with the representative oscyllographs of torques on the shafts of the upper and lower spindles. This system proves its efficiency. Based on the results of a long-term monitoring, focus areas in the development of algorithms enabling control of the main electric drives are specified; they are aimed at the dynamic torques limiting in the shaft assemblies of the horizontal mill stand.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128336962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method convergence is illustrated on the model equations of the second and third degrees. The paper presents the specific features of the numerically solved studied equations with a fixed length of a mantissa in the machine representation of a floating-point number. This is usually achieved by redundancy of both generating equipment and heat medium transport pipelines. However, such redundancy can not be provided for all systems as a consequence of technical or economic constraints. Therefore, during heating system accidents, it starts operating in the so called short supply condition. In this case, there is a need to redistribute heating energy between consumers, for example, according to their social significance. At the same time, in the general case, distribution among different-ranking consumers is disproportional with maximum possible maintenance of required temperature range for more significant consumers. Meanwhile it is required to distribute energy to among equal-ranking consumers in a proportionate manner. Distribution of this kind can be properly performed only on the basis of thermotechnical calculation. Such calculation can be promptly performed and implemented using automated district heating systems, whose control should be based on modeling and simulation. The article considers algorithms required for implementation of automation systems operating to the principle of buildings indoor temperature maintenance in short supply conditions of a heating system.","PeriodicalId":176198,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Ural Conference on Measurements (UralCon)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129117566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
